throw plastic bottles away into the recycling bin

The diagram below depicts the steps in a plastic bottles recycling process.

There are 9 steps in total in the process, starting when people throw out their
bottles and ending at the recycled end products.

We start at the local recycle bins where people dispose of their plastic bottles.
Afterwards, a trash collecting truck arrives, taking all the bottles with it to the
recycling center. At the recycling center, the bottles will be sorted manually by a
worker. Approved bottles will then be compressed into huge blocks.

These blocks will then be moved to a cogwheel-shaped crusher, where the

crushed pieces will fall directly into a pool filled with liquid. This is to wash the
pieces clean. Subsequently, the pieces will be put into another machine to get
the plastic pellets. These pellets will be heated into the raw material, which is
eventually used to produce end products such as T-shirts, pencils or bags.
