SUFFICIENCY, AND YOUR PREORDAINED DESTINY THAT FLESH AND BLOOD

DOWN DEEP AND POUR OUT THE AFFIRMATION YOU’RE THIRSTING FOR.

I HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.

We have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16

THE LIE: I’M REJECTED.

I HAVE BEEN CHOSEN.


He chose us in him before the creation of the world. Ephesians 1:4

THE LIE: I’M CONDEMNED.

I AM FORGIVEN AND FREE.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ
Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1

THE LIE: I’M A LOSER.

I AM A CONQUEROR.

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

THE LIE: I’M INSECURE.

I AM SECURE.

Those who fear the LORD are secure. Proverbs 14:26

THE LIE: I’M INADEQUATE.

MY ADEQUACY IS IN CHRIST.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves,
but our adequacy is from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5

THE LIE: I’M NOT GOOD ENOUGH.


BECAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS WORK OF REDEMPTION, I AM DEEPLY
LOVED, COMPLETELY FORGIVEN, FULLY PLEASING, AND TOTALLY
ACCEPTED BY GOD. I AM EMPOWERED AND EQUIPPED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
TO DO ALL GOD HAS CALLED ME TO DO.

You were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the
Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

THE LIE: I’M INFERIOR. I’M JUST A NOBODY.

I AM A CHILD OF THE KING.

To all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children
of God. John 1:12

THE LIE: I’M INSIGNIFICANT. I DON’T MATTER TO ANYONE.

I HAVE GREAT SIGNIFICANCE AS A CHILD OF GOD.


See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1

THE LIE: I’M INCOMPLETE. I NEED __________ TO BE FULFILLED.

I HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE IN CHRIST.

In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of
all principality and power. Colossians 2:9-10

THE LIE: I’M UNACCEPTABLE.

I AM TOTALLY ACCEPTED BY GOD.

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7

THE LIE: I’M ALL ALONE.

GOD AND HIS HEAVENLY ANGELS ARE ALWAYS WITH ME.

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Psalm 34:7

THE LIE: I CAN’T DO ANYTHING RIGHT.

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, WHO STRENGTHENS ME.

I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

I CAN ENDURE.

THE LIE: I DON’T NEED GOD ON THIS ONE. I CAN HANDLE THIS ONE ON MY OWN.

I CAN’T DO ANYTHING SIGNIFICANT APART FROM CHRIST WORKING THROUGH ME.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart

THE LIE: I’M HELPLESS.

GOD IS MY STRENGTH.

Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I
will uphold you with My victorious right hand…I am holding you by your right hand—I, the Lord your
God—and I say to you, Don’t be afraid; I am here to help you” Isaiah 41:10,13

THE LIE: I WILL NEVER FIGURE THIS OUT.

GOD WILL GIVE ME WISDOM.


If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it
will be given to him. James 1:5

THE LIE: I’M A BAD PERSON.

I AM A PARTAKER OF GOD’S DIVINE NATURE.


Through [everything we need for life and godliness] he has given us his very great and precious promises,
so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the
world caused by evil desires. 2 Peter 1:4

THE LIE: MY SIN IS UNFORGIVABLE.

GOD HAS FORGIVEN ME OF ALL MY SINS.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all
unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

THE LIE: I’M USED GOODS.

I AM A NEW CREATION—GOD’S TEMPLE.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
1 Corinthians 3:16

THE LIE: I’M POWERLESS.

I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know…his incompa-
rably great power for us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19

THE LIE: I’M AN OUTCAST.

I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED INTO GOD’S FAMILY.

In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:5

THE LIE: I’M CONDEMNED.

I AM FORGIVEN.

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

THE LIE: I’M ALL ALONE.

JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH ME.


God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you”. Hebrews 13:5
Jesus came to them and said, “…And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”.
Matthew 28:18,20

THE LIE: I CAN’T LET ANYONE KNOW ABOUT MY PAST.

THERE IS INCREDIBLE POWER IN MY PERSONAL STORY OF FORGIVENESS AND DELIVERANCE.


IT IS THE ENEMY WHO WANTS ME TO KEEP IT QUIET.
They triumphed over [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11

THE LIE: I’M NOT SAFE.

GOD WILL PROTECT ME.

The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

THE LIE: I CAN’T GET PAST MY PAST.

GOD MAKES ALL THINGS NEW. I AM A NEW CREATION.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know…his incompa-
rably great power for us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19

THE LIE: I CAN’T RESIST TEMPTATION.

THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, I CAN RESIST TEMPTATION.

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not
let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a
way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

THE LIE: I’M SUCH A FAILURE.

I AM A CHILD OF GOD WHO SOMETIMES FAILS.


Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”. 1 Corinthians 15:57

THE LIE: I JUST CAN’T HELP MYSELF.

I CAN STOP THIS SINFUL HABIT THROUGH THE POWER OF CHRIST.


We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away
with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been freed
from sin. Romans 6:6

THE LIE: I CAN’T TRUST GOD TO TAKE CARE OF MY NEEDS.

I CAN TRUST GOD TO TAKE CARE OF MY NEEDS.


My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

THE LIE: I DON’T BELIEVE GOD HEARS MY PRAYERS.

GOD ALWAYS HEARS MY PRAYERS.


This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears
us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
1 John 5:14-15

THE LIE: I DON’T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN LIFE.

GOD HAS GIVEN ME EVERYTHING I NEED TO DO ALL HE HAS CALLED ME TO DO.

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who
called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3

THE LIE: I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH FAITH.

GOD HAS GIVEN ME ALL THE FAITH I NEED. I SIMPLY NEED TO EXERCISE IT AND BELIEVE.

God has allotted to each a measure of faith. Romans 12:3


“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from
here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you”. Matthew 17:20

THE LIE: I’LL NEVER DO ANYTHING SIGNIFICANT WITH MY LIFE.

GOD HAS WONDERFUL PLANS FOR MY LIFE.

We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance
for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

THE LIE: I’LL NEVER RECOVER FROM THIS HORRIBLE CIRCUMSTANCE. LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.

GOD WILL CAUSE ALL THINGS TO WORK FOR GOOD IN MY LIFE.

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called
according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

THE LIE: NOBODY EVER PRAYS FOR ME.

JESUS PRAYS FOR ME CONTINUALLY.

Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also
interceding for us. Romans 8:34

THE LIE: NOBODY KNOWS WHAT I’M GOING THROUGH.

JESUS UNDERSTANDS WHAT I’M GOING THROUGH.


We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who
has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Hebrews 4:15

THE LIE: NOBODY LOVES ME.

GOD LOVES ME GREATLY.


This is love; not that we loved God, that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:10

THE LIE: GOD WON’T FORGIVE ME THIS TIME.

GOD WILL FORGIVE ME WHEN I CONFESS, REPENT, AND ASK.

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new
every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

THE LIE: GOD ISN’T REALLY GOOD.

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME.

You are good, and what you do is good. Psalm 119:68

THE LIE: GOD’S LOVE FOR ME IS RELATED TO MY PERFORMANCE.

GOD’S LOVE FOR ME IS NOT BASED ON MY PERFORMANCE BUT ON THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS CHRIST.

It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of
God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

THE LIE: I AM TOO WEAK.

GOD’S POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS.

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”. 2 Corinthians 12:9

THE LIE: THIS PROBLEM IS TOO BIG. IT CANNOT BE FIXED.

NO PROBLEM IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR GOD.

O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing
is too hard for you! Jeremiah 32:17

THE LIE: GOD DOESN’T CARE ABOUT ME.

GOD KNOWS THE NUMBER OF HAIRS ON MY HEAD AND IS CONCERNED WITH EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE.

Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many
sparrows”. Matthew 10:30-31

THE LIE: I HAVE REASON TO FEAR.

GOD WILL PROTECT ME. I DO NOT NEED TO BE AFRAID.


I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4

THE LIE: I WANT TO OBEY GOD, BUT IT’S TOO HARD.

GOD WILL NEVER ASK ME TO DO ANYTHING HE WILL NOT GIVE ME THE POWER TO DO.

What I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. Deuteronomy 30:11

THE LIE: I NEED ________ TO FEEL COMPLETE.

I AM COMPLETE IN CHRIST.

THE LIE: MY MARRIAGE IS HOPELESS.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD. HE CAN HEAL MY MARRIAGE.

What is impossible with man is possible with God. Luke 18:27

THE LIE: THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION. IT CANNOT BE FIXED.

GOD CAN FIX ANY SITUATION.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God. All things are possible
with God.” Mark 10:27

THE LIE: MY FINANCES ARE HOPELESS.

GOD CAN TAKE CARE OF MY FINANCES IF I SEEK HIM FIRST.

Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33

THE LIE: IT’S MY BODY. I CAN DO WHAT I WANT.

MY BODY IS GOD’S TEMPLE.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received
from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

THE LIE: HE’S NOT A CHRISTIAN, BUT I’M GOING TO MARRY HIM ANYWAY. I’M SURE IT WILL ALL WORK OUT.

GOD HAS COMMANDED BELIEVERS NOT TO MARRY UNBELIEVERS.

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in
common?…What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 2 Corinthians 6:14,15

THE LIE: I DESERVE BETTER.

I DESERVE HELL. GOD DOESN’T OWE ME ANYTHING. I OWE HIM EVERYTHING.


Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility value others above yourselves…have
the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God
something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing, taking the very nature
of a servant, being made in human likeness. Philippians 2:3,5-7

THE LIE: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT.

THE DEVIL CAN’T MAKE ME DO ANYTHING.


The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

THE LIE: I’D BE HAPPY IF I JUST HAD _________.

MY JOY COMES FROM KNOWING GOD.

I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Philippians 4:11

THE LIE: I MUST PAY FOR MY SINS.

JESUS PAID FOR MY SINS.

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many ”.
Matthew 20:28

THE LIE: IT’S MY LIFE. I CAN DO WHAT I WANT.

MY LIFE NOW BELONGS TO GOD.

You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:20

THE LIE: I HAVE NO PURPOSE IN LIFE.

GOD HAS GREAT PLANS FOR MY LIFE.

What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no mind has conceived—the things God has
prepared for those who love him— 1 Corinthians 2:9

THE LIE: I CAN DRESS THE WAY I WANT. IF A MAN IS TEMPTED, THAT’S HIS PROBLEM.

I MUST NOT DRESS IN A WAY THAT CAUSES A BROTHER TO BE TEMPTED.

Do not cause anyone to stumble. 1 Corinthians 10:32

THE LIE: I FEEL DIRTY.

I HAVE BEEN CLEANSED AND MADE PURE AND HOLY.

You were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by

THE LIE: GOD DOESN’T HEAR MY PRAYERS.

GOD HEARS MY EVERY PRAYER.


The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who
fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:18-19

THE LIE: I DON’T DESERVE TO BE FORGIVEN.

NO ONE DESERVES TO BE FORGIVEN. GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS A GIFT.


It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

THE LIE: I’LL NEVER CHANGE. I’LL ALWAYS BE A MESS.

GOD WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED IN YOU.

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6

THE LIE: I’M TOO FAR GONE. I DON’T THINK GOD COULD STILL LOVE ME AFTER WHAT I’VE DONE.

NOTHING CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM GOD, NOT EVEN YOUR OWN POOR CHOICES.

I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the
future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

THE LIE: IF SOMEONE DOESN’T LIKE ME, THEN SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH ME.

NOT EVERYONE WILL LIKE ME. NOT EVERYONE LIKED JESUS.

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Isaiah 53:3

THE LIE: I CAN’T TRUST GOD TO TAKE CARE OF ME.

I CAN TRUST GOD TO TAKE CARE OF ME.

Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear… seek
first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”.
Matthew 6:25,33

MY HAPPINESS AND SECURITY COME FROM KNOWING JESUS.

Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need! Psalm 23:1

THE LIE: GOD HAS FORGOTTEN ME.

GOD WILL NEVER FORGET ME.

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands”.
Isaiah 49:15-16

THE LIE: I HAVE RIGHTS.

THE WAY TO JOY IS TO LAY DOWN MY RIGHTS.


Have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with

THE LIE: I WILL NEVER FIGURE THIS OUT.

GOD WILL DIRECT YOUR STEPS.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to
him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

THE LIE: I’M WEAK.

I AM STRONG IN THE LORD. HIS POWER IS WORKING IN ME.

The LORD is the strength of my life. Psalm 27:1

THE LIE: GOD COULD NEVER USE ME.

GOD CAN AND WILL USE ME TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSES FOR MY LIFE.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit
that will last” John 15:16

THE LIE: I USED TO BE A CHRISTIAN, BUT I LOST MY SALVATION.

I DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO EARN MY SALVATION. IT IS ALL ABOUT WHAT JESUS DID, NOT WHAT I DO.
THEREFORE, I CANNOT LOSE MY SALVATION BECAUSE OF POOR PERFORMANCE.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand”.
John 10:28
