ENGAGEMENT OF SCIENCE COMMUNICATOR

Details of Advertisement No. : 05/2024


Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement of ‘Science
Communicator’ at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata for a
period of one year extendable for another year subject to satisfactory performance
on a payment of consolidated stipend of `35,000/- per month.

Science Communicators are required for science demonstration to the visitors and
other educational activities. Conducting of Mobile Science Exhibition in rural areas,
as and when required, is part and parcel of the Traineeship.

आव�क यो�ता / Required Qualification :


Master in Science in Physics/Chemistry/Bio-Science.

पात्रता / Eligibility :
Candidates who have possessed Masters’ Degree in the relevant subject within last
three years (not earlier than 2021) and having proficiency in local language and
English/Hindi are eligible for the position.

समेिकत वजीफा / Consolidated Stipend :


`35,000/- per month.

Eligible and interested candidates may submit their applications in the prescribed
format annexed herewith, along with self-attested photocopies of all certificates and
testimonials starting from Madhyamik to the Director, Birla Industrial and
Technological Museum, 19A, Gurusaday Road, Kolkata – 700 019 on all working
days during office hours. Application may also be sent by post. Last date of receipt
of application is 02.01.2025.

चयन / Selection :
Selection of Science Communicators shall be made through Written Test and
Communication Skill Test.

प्रमाणपत्र / Certificate :
On successful completion of the engagement period as Science Communicator
certificate will be issued to the candidate.
