Admissions 2024-25 - List of Candidates shortlisted for admission counselling to M.P.A. - Music:
Hindustani Vocal/Instrumental.
The following candidates have been shortlisted for admission counselling, in order of merit, based
on their performance in the CUET_PG_2024 entrance examination and Interview (if applicable) for
admission to the first semester of M.P.A. - Music: Hindustani Vocal/Instrumental in the Sarojni
Naidu School of Arts and Communication during the Academic Year 2024-2025, subject to fulfilling
the minimum qualifications for admission and other conditions given in the Prospectus for 2024.

A. Reporting: Candidates seeking to take admission in University of Hyderabad are instructed to report
in person (no proxy allowed) for the admission counselling on 15th July, 2024 at 9:30 AM at
Centre for Integrated Studies, South Campus, University of Hyderabad. Candidates reporting
beyond the reporting hours will not be considered for admission counselling. Schedule of Admissions
is as below.
Reporting : 09:30 Hrs
Attendance : 09:30 Hrs to 10:00 Hrs
Admission Counselling: 10:15 Hrs onwards
B. Checklist of Documents: Candidates reporting for admission counselling are instructed to bring the
following documents as applicable in original and 2 sets of photocopy.
1. 10th Certificate
2. 12th Certificate
3. Bachelor Degree Certificate
4. Bachelor Degree Marks Memo
5. CUET_PG_2024 score Card.
6. Copy of UOH Admission Application
7. Recent passport size photo
8. Transfer Certificate & Migration Certificate from the institution last studied
9. Signed Medical Declaration, Affidavits etc. (Annexure I to V) available at

10. Category Certificate – SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD/DP certificates as applicable for
candidates applying under reserved categories.
The candidates under reserved category, i.e. SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD and DP should produce
the certificate in the prescribed format issued by a competent authority in support of their claim
without which their claim will not be considered and their candidature will be summarily
rejected.
Specific instruction for OBC-NCL candidates: Candidates applying under OBC category are
required to submit the OBC-NCL certificate in Govt. of India format issued on or after

Specific instruction for EWS candidates: Candidates applying under EWS category should
submit EWS certificate in Govt. of India format issued on or after 1st April 2024. (Format
available at http://acad.uohyd.ac.in/downloads/EWS.pdf )
Note: Candidates shall be required to produce valid category certificate at the time of admission
counselling and no additional time will be provided under any circumstances.
C. Payment of Fee: Candidates allotted a confirmed seat after the admission counselling will be required
to pay the Admission and Semester Fee on the same day to confirm the seat. All candidates (except
PH) are required to pay Rs. 8955/- towards the admission fee for the first semester of the course. All
PH candidates are required to pay Rs. 5230/-.
The SC/ST candidates from the State of Telangana with parental income less than
Rs.2,00,000/- (The income certificate issued on or after 1-4-2024) are eligible for the fee
concession and have to pay Rs. 5230/-. Later such eligible students are required to apply for
Telangana Social welfare scholarship before the end of 1st semester and submit the required
proofs to the academic section.
D. Consequential Vacancies: The consequential vacancies that occur due to the withdrawal of seats or
cancellation of admission for various reasons will be filled with the next eligible candidate in the order
merit in the respective category who have reported and signed on the attendance sheet on the day of
Admission Counselling. Candidates those who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
considered.
E. Tie Breaking: In case of tie in the marks obtained in the Entrance/Competitive Exam, the same will be
resolved by applying the criterions given below at the time of admission. (The above will be applicable
only when two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the Entrance/Competitive Exam and
compete for one seat.)
G. In all case of disputes and unforeseen/contingency circumstances, the decision of the University will
be final. Any form of canvassing/malpractice will lead to disqualification/cancellation of candidature.
