Guidelines for the Project:

1. It should be a Project developed after careful requirement analysis.

Guidelines for the preperation of Project Report of Major Project:


1. Report should contain certificates from department head and yourself
indicating that the work is original and is not submitted elsewhere.
2. Only One copy of the Report must be submitted to the department.
3. Report must be spiral bound in light green cover with golden Print.
4. You must submit a soft copy of your project code, a copy of the report,
testing data and a power point presentation.
5. Report should be printed on one side of A4 size paper with a left margin of
1.5 inches of the left hand side using a font size of 12 on MS Word with
vertical spacing of 1.5 lines among lines. However paragraphs can be
separated by 2 lines.
6. All pages (except front page) shall be numbered at bottom with center
alignment.
7. Each and every form or report layout must also contain the source or
destination of data to which it is linked.
8. Students shall avoid adding code to their project report.
9. Conclusion, Limitation and Future Enhancements shall be of full page at
least and Bibliography & Reference of at least two pages.
10. An appendix shall be added for technology used , functions implemented etc
if required.
11. Students should clearly mention what kind of testing and how is done in the
project. They should provide test data in softcopy if used.
12. A section called Creative Coding is given in format of index to describe
anything new , a function used in other that the usual way, a code developed
to handle a specific problem. Etc.
13. Students should carefully read their project reports to remove wrong spellings,
grammatical mistakes, repetition of words, Lines or paragraph in the text.
They are advised not to repeat the same text again and again just to increase
the size of the chapter in their report. However giving reference is allowed.
