Why this as a career ?
I like doing fashion art a lot I enjoy
showing my work to everyone and I will
get opportunities to meet different
artists and as we all know fashion
industry is very big so It offers variety
and opportunity in terms of work, skills
you acquire, and growth potential
Job description –
A Fashion Designer is responsible for
researching trends, developing design
concepts, sketching designs, selecting
fabrics and trims, overseeing
production, and collaborating with
teams to create visually appealing
fashion products.
Qualities of a fashion designer –
A fashion designer needs to be
creative. This means a good fashion
designer has the ability to take
something from nothing and convert it
into a piece of art. He/she should
have a great sense of style and
constantly come up with new ideas of
fashion.
Education and training –
One of the basic requirements for a
fashion designer is a bachelor's degree
in fashion design, fashion
merchandising, or visual arts. After
completing your 10+2, you require to
prepare for entrance examinations for
fashion designing colleges such as NIFT
ENTRANCE EXAMS. If you want to
become a fashion designer, you are
required to start developing a digital
portfolio of your designs as early as
possible. Make your fashion designer
resume to apply for jobs
Colleges and cut-off –
1- NIFT (national institute of fashion
technology)- this is one of the top
most college for fashion designing
in delhi. You have to score a
minimum 60% to be eligible for
the entrance of NIFT.
2- NID ( national institute of design)-
The National Institutes of
Design (NIDs) are a group of
autonomous public design
universities in India, with
the primary institute, founded in
1961, in Ahmedabad, with
extension campuses
in Gandhinagar and Bengaluru.

2021 to 2031, slower than the average
for all occupations. Despite limited
employment
growth, about 2,300 openings for
fashion designers are projected each
year, on average, over the decade

well known for his works in
Bollywood .he is mainly known for his
lehengas Manish Malhotra lehenga
prices vary based on the categories.
While a lighter lehenga for a Mehndi
and Sangeet function may cost around
INR 4-5 lakhs or USD 4500 – 7500
(approx), full-fledged bridal ones start
from INR 5 Lakhs or USD 7500 (approx)
and go up to INR 13 lakhs or USD
18,500 approximately.
