1.0 SCOPE

This Work Instruction Project providesInstruction provides the framework to be

followed by all EPC and Self-Perform CONTRACTORS in determining the
content of Commissioning ChecklistsCheck lists.

2.0 PURPOSE

To provide a complex-wide level of detail for Commissioning ChecklistsCheck

lists which ensures consistency between the various Contracts.

3.0 DEFINITION

Commissioning checklistscheck lists Check lists are the forms that describe the
final checks made on equipment by the responsible Commissioning group
immediately prior to putting that equipment into service. These checks are
conducted after receipt of notification of Mechanical Completion from the
Contractor’s Construction group for the item of equipment concerned. The
completed checklistscheck lists form part of the final Systems Handover
DossierCompletion Manual for the system System containing the equipment in
question.

4.0 RESPONSIBILITIES

The CONTRACTOR’s Commissioning Manager shall be responsible for ensuring

that the Contractor’s Commissioning checklistscheck lists Check Lists contain, as
a minimum, the checks listed on the attached examples.

Specialised pieces of equipment not listed in this Instruction shall have dedicated
check lists prepared, the content of which shall be approved by PMT/CSPC.
