PASSIVE VOICE IN SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
The passive voice is a grammatical construction in which the subject of the sentence is acted
upon by the verb. In the passive voice, the focus is on the action and the recipient of the action,
rather than on who or what is performing the action. The passive voice is often used when the
doer of the action is unknown, unimportant, or implied.
Passive voice dalam Simple Present Tense digunakan jika kita ingin fokus pada penerima
tindakan (bukan pelakunya).
Contoh:
Contoh:
The cake is not baked by Sarah. (Kue tidak dipanggang oleh Sarah.)
The room is not cleaned every day. (Ruangan tidak dibersihkan setiap hari.)
Contoh:
Question Word (What, Where, When, Who, Why, How) + Auxiliary Verb + Subject +
Verb (Base Form/V1 atau V3, sesuai tense)
