Method 1: Using the "Forgot Password" Option

On the Windows 11 login screen, click on the "Forgot Password" link.

Enter your Microsoft account email address and follow the prompts to reset your password.

If you don't have a Microsoft account, you'll need to try another method.

Method 2: Using a Password Reset Tool

Download a reputable password reset tool, such as Ophcrack or Cain & Abel.

Create a bootable USB drive or CD/DVD with the tool.

Boot from the USB drive or CD/DVD and follow the prompts to reset your password.

Method 3: Using a Windows 11 Installation Media

Create a Windows 11 installation media (USB drive or CD/DVD).

Boot from the installation media and select the "Repair your computer" option.

Follow the prompts to access the Command Prompt.

Method 4: Enable/Disable Reset Option using CMD

Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

Type the following command to enable the reset option:

reagentc /enable

Type the following command to disable the reset option:

reagentc /disable

Method 5: Remove Reset Option using CMD

Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

Type the following command:

reagentc /deprovision

This will remove the reset option from the Advanced Options menu.

Troubleshooting When Locked Out


Ensure you're using the correct username and password.

Check for any typos or incorrect capitalization.

Try using the "Forgot Password" option or a password reset tool.

If you're still locked out, try booting in Safe Mode or using a Windows 11 installation media.
