1 Here, some negative points have been mentioned in detail which shows negative aspect of owner
leadership:
1. Neglecting Health and Safety Vision:When a firm has an effective vision regarding safety, this means
that the health andsafety of personnel in any activity will be prioritized. The owner's lack of or absence of
expressing this vision implies that safety becomes an add-on or an appendix, putting the workers at the
mercy of untoward risks.
2. Authoritarian Management Style: Aggressive behaviour reduces workers' willingness to report risks or
change ideas. It also fosters the continuation of safety risks as the employees do not report issues related to
equipment, training, or working conditions.

Improper First Aid Provision: No first aider was on shift, which exposed the workers at the
workplace in case of an injury or accident. Worker C had an injury that was easy to notice and was
seen struggling, yet he was not attended to medically as a matter of urgency. Nonetheless, worker
B had to respond proactively and take Worker C to the hospital; the lack of a first aider at the
workplace speaks volumes of the organization’s lack of appropriate readiness to handle accidents .

Task 6: Recognising accident investigation failings (a)1. Cordon off the Area:
The owner should warn other workers to avoid the accident scene by posting barriers
or warning signs around the scissor lift, the injured worker, or any other dangers that
might be present. This step is important in an effort to reduce the incidence of more
accidents by avoiding casualties from other persons within the working area,
especially with moving cars. It helps the scene owner separate the working area from
the dangerous one and prevent some unwitting individual from entering the scene,
thus interfering with the evidence or making it even more dangerous for the work.
Worker B can explain why an organization conducts a health and safety audit by
making the following observations, stating how audits might actually contribute the
satisfaction of each observation:1. Identify risks and evaluate risk: A health and
safety audit helps one discover the dangers that are not readily apparent, such as
dangerous equipment or an unhealthy working condition. In this case, the scissor lift
had rust and illegible control marks, hence presenting a danger that would otherwise
have not been detected by Worker B or Worker C if inspection was not carried out in
an organized manner.
An audit would identify these dangers and ensure that all equipment was safe to be
used and also ensured that all proper maintenance and training were in place. This
exercise would lead to the production of a safer environment with less potential for
future incidences
