Abstract

This research paper talks about cloud storage and its advantages and disadvantages. There are 3

types of cloud services models such as infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, and

software as a service. Cloud storage even has various characteristics like performance,

productivity, maintenance, etc. There are various issues in cloud storage like security,

compliance, etc. The research design used in the research project is exploratory and the type of

data is secondary in nature. The findings include how a hybrid cloud is a cloud computing

environment that exploits both public and private clouds as well as some third–party tools.

will provide IT, administrators, with the capability to monitor and proactively manage their

cloud environment all with minimal effort and at a low cost. It has been even recommended that
cloud storages need to improve their data security by following a security awareness training

program. Cloud storages even need to maintain privacy and for that various cloud storage

services provide privacy such as spider oak and Google Drive. It has been recommended that

health information technology for economic and clinical health acts is compliant with cloud

storage. Before planning how to use Cloud computing, a data controller customer should identify

the data, the processing operations, or the services which might be hosted in Cloud.

There should be certain rules and regulations in compliance related to data and hosting. To

comply with regulations (Federal Information Security Management Act, Health Insurance

Portability and etc.) users may have to adopt expensive deployment modes.
