not objective. The website does not provide the challenges and limitations of this project but

ethical implication in moral philosophy. It gives a comprehensive account and explanation of
how different types of egoism works and how it is relevant in our decision making processes.
Value: This source is valuable because it is very well written and well researched. The
information provided is relevant to the essay’s discussion on the sjoparken project because it
allows me to view this proposal from the perspective of a major stakeholder, the developers.
This source gives me insights as to why the developers might have ignored the implications
of this project on the marginalized community and justifies why the decision was made to
serve their personal interests. By prioritizing individual gains over community, it stands as a
very strong transition point to strengthen my argument in communitarian ethics.
Limitations: The article is way too theoretical and not directly applicable to the real life
context, for example of the Sjoparken project. The article could benefit from more real life
example to explain the different types of egoism and the arguments against them.

Value: This source is valuable because it offers a great understanding of the environmental
impacts of lithium and cobalt mining. The information of this source is relevant to my essays
discussion of the Sjøparken project’s environmental impact, particulary to contradict the

argument.

part in this project. It also doesn’t critically evaluiate the argument it is making to provide the
