4. (a)A form two student was arguing that temperature has various difference with heat.
How can you argue on that phenomenon by using two reasons
(b) Imagine that your schoolmate at the school kitchen are shouting that the morning
porridge is verry hot! Its temperature is said to be 420K. what temperature is this on the
Fahrenheit scale?
5. (a) Suppose you find your classmate along the road pushing a bicycle and it accelerated,
but when pushed a car, it failed to move. Why your classmate managed to push a bicycle
rather than car?
(b) A body of mass 80Kg was pushed by a constant force of 50N for 6seconds. Suggest
on the acceleration acquired by the body

6. Herieth started moving the car from rest and the car accelerated uniformly at the rate of
5m/s2 for 6seconds and maintained a constant velocity for 25seconds. Afterwards she
applied the brakes and the car retarded to rest in 4seconds. Now how far did she covered
from where she started up to retardation? Suggest also her average speed graphically
7. (a) Golleth and Amina both were arguing on some parts of a car but then they said and
agreed that the efficiency of a machine is always less than 100% now what do you think
was the reason that implied to their agreements?
(b) The wheel and axle with an efficiency of 80%.is used to raise a load of 5000N. if the
radius of the wheel is 40cm while that of the axle is 10cm, as a form two student.
Calculate;-

(ii) The mechanical advantage of the wheel and axle
8. (a) Suppose a form four students at Tabora girls secondary school were performing an
experiment with a uniform meter rule which is pivoted at its centre O with a knife edge.
Then 30g mass was placed at the 10cm mark by the students and a 60g mass was placed
at 40cm mark as shown in the figure bellow, now at what mark student must place a
second 60g mass, for a system to be in rotational balance?
