Custom HTTP Web Server Implementation | NodeJS
• Developed a HTTP web server from scratch using only NodeJS and socket programming, without

using any existing library or framework, which supports serving of files to browser or executing any file at the
server end (like express) and enabling developers to test and develop their web applications on browsers.
• Simplified route management by allowing users to map routes to JavaScript files, enabling direct execution of

logic without manual route handler definitions.


• Implemented socket programming techniques to establish bi-directional communication between browser and

server and core HTTP protocols used by web browsers to handle requests and responses .
Service Booking Website | ReactJS, Flask, MySQL
• Developed a web application with ReactJS for front-end and Flask(Python) for back-end where users can book

services/search for items at their nearest stores based on 5+ filters and can also choose to recreate a product
from a wide range of catalogues.
• Implemented Virtualisation and Materialization approaches of Information Integration to integrate data from

various databases and responding the query efficiently.


File encryptor and decryptor | C++
• Developed a file encryption and decryption tool in C++ using Caesar cipher encryption algorithm.

• Implemented multiprocessing with fork for efficient process management and optimized performance during file

operations, along with mutex-locks to prevent deadlock scenarios.


MapReduce Framework | Python, gRPC
• Designed a robust mapreduce framework in Python capable of performing three critical tasks: word count,

inverted index, and natural join.


• Engineered the framework to intelligently distribute workloads and process data chunks in parallel,

resulting in significant improvements in processing speed and resource utilization.


• Leveraged gRPC for high-performance and efficient inter-process communication
