He manages the financial health of EcoStep Egypt, ensuring its economic sustainability. In his
monitor evaluator role, he rigorously analyzes budgets, assesses risks, and identifies
opportunities for cost optimization. His analytical skills is crucial to maintaining the company’s
financial stability and growth trajectory.
6. Sales Manager (Resource Investigator)
The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in building relationships with clients and driving revenue.
They are responsible for identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities in high-footfall areas
such as malls, airports, and public spaces. With a focus on customer engagement and market
trends, this position ensures the company’s sales strategies align with its broader goals.
Those members would have the main shares and a minimum salary. There are other positions
that would be filled by part-time employees at later stages like Product Development Engineer,
and Sustainability Consultant.
Industry Overview
The renewable energy sector in Egypt is experiencing significant growth, driven by national and
international trends emphasizing sustainability, energy security, and climate change mitigation.
EcoStep Egypt is well-positioned to capitalize on these developments with its innovative
piezoelectric technology.
Market Dynamics
Government Policies and Targets
Egypt’s Integrated Sustainable Energy Strategy (ISES) aims to achieve 42% of electricity
generation from renewable sources by 2035, with contributions from wind (14%), solar (21.3%),
and hydropower (1.98%) (IRENA, 2018).
The government has launched initiatives like feed-in tariffs, public-private partnerships, and
regulatory reforms to support renewable energy investment (IRENA, 2018).
Urbanization and Energy Demand
Rapid urbanization has increased energy consumption in commercial and public spaces. High-
footfall locations such as malls, airports, and transit hubs present opportunities for localized
renewable energy solutions like piezoelectric mats (IEA, 2023).
Renewable Energy Investment Trends
Investments in Egypt’s renewable energy infrastructure have exceeded USD 2.5 billion annually.
Projects like Benban Solar Park and wind farms in the Gulf of Suez highlight the growing
interest in clean energy solutions (IEA, 2023).
Private-sector participation has been crucial, with companies incentivized to explore innovative
technologies and diversify the energy mix (Bissada, 2022).

Description of the Product
Product Overview
EcoStep Egypt introduces an innovative piezoelectric generator mat that transforms foot traffic
into clean, renewable energy. These mats are strategically designed to capture kinetic energy
from pedestrians, converting it into electricity through the piezoelectric effect—a phenomenon
where mechanical pressure generates electrical energy. The mats are highly durable, low-
maintenance, and adaptable to various high-footfall environments, including malls, airports,
stadiums, public transportation hubs, and parks (Covaci & Gontean, 2020).
Unique Features
- Highly durable and efficient design based on recent advancements in piezoelectric harvesting
technology (Brusa, Carrera, & Delprete, 2023).
- Equipped with smart energy monitoring systems.
Value Proposition
- Reduces energy costs while promoting sustainability.
- Enhances businesses' environmental profile, aligning with global climate goals.
Core Values Provided by the Product
Economic Value
EcoStep Egypt’s mats offer a cost-effective solution to meet the growing demand for green
energy. By installing these mats, businesses and public institutions can reduce electricity
expenses through the renewable energy generated by pedestrian movement. Additionally, surplus
electricity can be sold back to the grid, creating a new revenue stream. This economic model
elevates financial sustainability while encouraging partnerships with both private and public
sectors, fostering long-term growth.
Social Value
The mats empower communities by making renewable energy accessible and participatory.
Installed in schools, parks, and other public spaces, they provide individuals with an engaging
way to contribute to energy generation. This interaction not only raises awareness but also fosters
a moral responsibility toward environmental stewardship. By collaborating with local authorities
and NGOs, EcoStep Egypt ensures that the benefits of its technology directly improve
community infrastructure and sustainability.
Environmental Value
EcoStep Egypt’s technology significantly reduces carbon emissions by replacing traditional
energy sources with a clean, renewable alternative. The mats contribute to Egypt's national
sustainability and climate goals by harnessing pedestrian traffic to produce eco-friendly
electricity. This approach minimizes waste of natural resources, reduces dependency on fossil
4
fuels, and enhances overall environmental management, supporting global and local efforts to
combat climate change
Sources of Funding
Conclusion
EcoStep Egypt offers an innovative, scalable solution to Egypt’s energy challenges. Leveraging
advancements in piezoelectric technology, the company is set to make a significant impact on the
economy, society, and environment.
