Digital Sum/

 It is nothing but remainder, when number is divided by 9./

 It is method of 9 & remainder method./

Rule/
We get the digit sum of a number by adding across the number till a single digit.

For example: Digit sum of 56342/56342

So, the digital sum of 56342 is 2/

Note:
A. During the adding across the number, we can drop out 9 – 9 b' coz it doesn't count.

B. For decimal: Same method is used. don't pay attention to the decimal.

C. If the digital sum of any number is '0' then we assum the digital sum of as '9'.

Rule: In division operation, digital sum depends on divisor/

A. If the divisor or digital sum of divisor is such type of number which is convertable to 1 as digital
sum after multiplying with any number then.

The digital sum of dividend = digital sum of the number.

When 7 is multiply by 4 it becomes 28.

Divisor or d.s. of divisor be like that/

(B) If the divisor or D.S. of divisor is such type of number which is not convertable 1 as D.S. after
multiplying with any number, then

 It is better to divide the number, first to remove such divisor./

 If such divisor can not be removed, then digital sum is failed./
