Please select one of the two video verification methods: “Screen Recording" or “Video Shooting with
External Device".
For optimal clarity of the required information, we recommend using "Screen Recording" for the video
verification process.
If you need to use your remote controller with a mobile device, please consult the "Mobile Device"
instructions. If you are using a remote controller with a built-in screen, please refer to the "Remote
Controller with Built-in Screen" instructions. To export the video from the remote controller with a
built-in screen, please click here.
⚫ Mobile Device: Power on the remote controller and the aircraft, connect your mobile device,
and initiate screen recording. Make sure your device is connected during recording.
⚫ Remote Controller with Built-in Screen: Power on the remote controller and the aircraft,
connect the remote controller to the network, and initiate screen recording.
Or Step 1 (Video Shooting with External Device): Preparation for shooting - Ensure the content is clear,
there's no screen glare, and there are no obstructions.
⚫ Mobile Device: Power on the remote controller and the aircraft, and connect your mobile
device.
⚫ Remote Controller with Built-in Screen: Power on the remote controller and the aircraft,
then connect the remote controller to the network.
⚫ Mobile Device: Connect the mobile device to the network, access the device's calendar app,
or search for “Time" in the browser to display the current date and time.
⚫ Remote Controller with Built-in Screen: Enter the camera view, swipe down on the screen to
show the current date and time.
Launch DJI Fly, tap “GO FLY”, and then tap the icon located at the top right corner of the screen to access the
general settings interface. Select “About”, slowly scroll down the screen, and remain on the page displaying
the device SN.
Select “Control”, tap “Gimbal Calibration” to start gimbal auto calibration. Control the gimbal to move up
and down after calibration.
Tap the icon on the upper left of the screen to enter the aircraft status list. Slowly scroll down the page to
the bottom. Make sure there are no warnings shown.
Go back to the camera view and record a video* lasting at least 3 seconds, then play it back. After playback,
stop screen recording. Please refrain from cutting, splicing, or editing the video.
* If your device does not have internal storage, make sure to insert an available microSD card before starting
the recording.
DJI Avata Series + DJI Goggles V2
1. Before recording: Please make sure the current firmware version is the latest. The
firmware update can be done in the following two ways:
⚫ Once the aircraft, goggles, and motion controller/remote controller have been linked,
connect the goggles to your mobile device. Launch the DJI Fly app, then check the firmware version or
access the firmware update prompt shown in the top left corner of the homepage in the app to update
the firmware to the latest version.
⚫ Use DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) to update the aircraft, remote controller, and
DJI FPV Goggles V2 to the latest version.
2. When recording the verification video, please record the following content in order:
Get ready to place your mobile device and use it to record the screen of DJI FPV goggles V2. It's not necessary
to capture the full screen, but make sure the following information is captured clearly.
Press down the 5D button to scroll through the menu, enter Settings and About, scroll down the screen, and
remain on the page displaying the device SN (clearly show the serial number of the flight controller, remote
controller, battery, and camera).
Enter Settings, Control, and Gimbal Calibration to complete the gimbal calibration.
Start video recording, adjust the gimbal tilt, ensure that the capturing view follows the movement of the
lens accordingly, then maintain a static camera view for 5 seconds, and stop recording. Maintain maximum
stability with the shooting equipment.
DJI Avata Series + DJI Goggles 2/DJI Goggles 3/DJI Goggles Integra/
DJI Neo + DJI Goggles 3
1. Before Recording: Make sure the firmware has been updated to the latest. Refer to the following two
methods to update firmware:
Once the aircraft, the goggles, and the motion controller or the remote controller are linked, connect
the goggles to your mobile device. Open the DJI Fly app and update the firmware to the latest version
through firmware version detection or the upper left corner of the homepage.
Or use DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) to update the firmware of aircraft, remote controller,
and DJI Goggles 2/DJI Goggles 3/DJI Goggles Integra to the latest version.
2. Preparation before Screen Recording You can record videos using the goggles or using a mobile device
Before recording, please open the goggles menu, go to Settings → Camera → Advanced Camera
Settings → Camera View Recording. Make sure that all kinds of information can be recorded after
starting recording.
2. Swipe down to open the shortcut menu and tap to start recording. After recording, check the video and
