Manufacturing and Recertification of oil and Gas On/Offshore equipment (Wellhead and pressure control
equipment’s, Rotary connections, casings and tubing’s) as per API 6A, 16A, 5CT/5B, 7-1/7-2 standards that
includes design, machining, welding, inspection and testing.

API 6A – Design, manufacturing, inspection and testing of Wellhead & Christmas Tree Equipment (Top
Connectors, Tees & Crosses, Adapter Flanges, Blind Flanges, Spacer Spools, Double Studded Adaptors,
Weld Neck Flanges).

API 16A – Design, manufacturing, inspection & testing of Drilling Through Equipment (Drilling Spools,
Riser Spools, Hub Connectors & Clamps).

API 7-1/7-2 – Specification for Rotary Drill Stem Elements, Threading and Gauging of Rotary

My duties include:

 Participate in discipline engineering reviews, contract review & review of Order acceptance

 Coordination and communication of various issues with engineering team that affect the
discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work.

 Working and executing the project within the stipulated time and cost duration.

 Inspection of manufactured and repair jobs coming under API 6A,16A, 7-1 products

 Timely submission and completion of KPI, Inspection reports, COC.

 Assure accurate and timely communication among the team and other company functions on
discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.

 Stewarding and Resolving queries of the fabrication team.

 Providing timely engineering inputs to the Fabrication Team

 Regular follow up with the respective buyers for the tracking of the material.

 Updating Engineering Manager/Project Manager informed of discipline engineering progress,

deviations, and execution concerns.

 Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment in accordance with the established quality system
specification & procedure.

  Evaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to ensure that the
work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, standards, and regulatory
requirements

 Conduct receiving inspection of raw material & purchased product

 Receiving inspection, Evaluation ,NDE inspection & hydro chart verification of M&M valves (Saftey
valve, Kelly Valve & IBOP)

 Review of MTC from the mill to meet the applicable standard and specification

 Controlling & monitoring the material identification starting from preparation to delivery.

 Review QC inspection report and data book for accuracy of information

 Review of engineering drawing against applicable standard and customer requirements

 Initiate for preparation of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Welding Material test
samples.

 Initiate procurement action by preparing and processing purchase orders for all weld material
tests and all welder performance and procedure qualification sample testing.

 Set up and maintain record of welder or welding operator qualification tests for each welder’s
qualification file, in accordance with ASME Section IX and/or customer contract requirements.

 Supervising welding inspectors and follow-up and record of each stages of fabricated/welding job
and approved procedures are employed in production.

 Participate in design package review

 Actively participate and assist QHSE Manager in Audit and Audit preparation for API Spec Q1 9th
edition and along with ISO 9001:2015 Annual surveillance Audit.

 Carry out internal audit (ISO9001:2015) and report on quality performance and non-conformance
report and follow up with other departments to closeout NC’s with relevant reports.

 Coordinate failure analyses and root cause analysis of the products.

Projection, Elevation, Orientation, Ovality & Visual Inspection of bevel edges and tack welds.
