Good buy if youre looking to start a fire

Ok now granted for 10 bucks these probably aren't the best earbuds out there but they
were supposed to be a quick temporary solution while I saved for something better,
However I didn't know how temporary the solution would be. They arrived within 24 hours
of ordering them I was happy about that. However, 5 thats right FIVE minutes after I
plugged them in charge my smoke alarm went off. I ran to see what was going on to find
the wire in flames to the point it had spread to my brand new logitech powerplay mouse
mat and the accompanying Logitech G903 gaming mouse that cost a total of 240 dollars.

Now of course I immediately put the little fire out then once that was out I inspected the
cause of the fire and it turned out the charging chord for the earbuds case wasn't insulated
AKA protected so the wire got hot and combusted burning through the very thin plastic
coating of the wire and catching the corner of the mousepad and the mouse shell. Needless
to say I was mad as all get out but thankful I was home to catch it in time. Picture of burnt
