Kịch Bản Project Unit 2

- Vinh: Hello everyone, welcome to the presentation of Group 2 on the

topic: Go Green Week.
- Vinh: Before we start the presentation, I have a question for you all:
"Have you ever participated in any environmental protection
activities?" Environmental protection activities can include picking up
trash, recycling plastic waste, cleaning the streets, etc.
- Vinh: To begin the presentation, I will introduce the members of
Group 2. Next, we will learn about what Go Green Week is, presented
by Anh Thư.
- Anh Thư: "Go Green Weekend" is an event or initiative typically
organized by communities, schools, organizations, or environmental
groups to promote sustainability and raise awareness about
environmental issues. It usually spans a weekend and involves
activities that encourage eco-friendly behavior and environmental
stewardship.
- Vinh: So we have just learned what Go Green Week is. Now, here is
the order of the presentation.
- First is the Tree Planting activity presented by Ngọc Linh and Minh Tú.
- Second is the Reducing Plastic activity presented by Ngọc Quyên and
Huỳnh Hoa.
- Finally, we have the Clean Up activity presented by Thanh Thiện and
Gia Huy.
- Vinh: Thus, we have briefly overviewed the content of the
presentation. Now, let's move on to the first part, which is the Tree
Planting activity. Now let's us begin.
- Ngọc Linh: The task takes place on Saturday at 9 a.m.Behind the
schoolyard is where it's located. The teacher assigned our class to plant
trees in plot number 2 and make a better evirontment, which is why
we are doing this task. Following the taks,we learnt that trees absorb
carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the atmosphere and store it as biomass. This
reduces the concentration of CO₂, one of the main greenhouse gases
contributing to climate change.
- Minh Tú: Morever, trees filter harmful pollutants like ozone, nitrogen
dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and particulate matter from the air. They also
release oxygen, improving air quality.Cleaner air leads to better
respiratory health and a more breathable environment, particularly in
urban areas..
- Vinh: And that concludes the information about the Tree Planting
activity. Next, let's learn about the second activity, which is Reducing
Plastic.
- Ngọc Quyên: The activity was held in Thanh Thien house on Saturday
at 8 a.m. There, the group made school supplies, vases, and other items
out of recycled plastic bottles. Recycling, in our opinion, lessens the
quantity of plastic debris that ends up in landfills, the ocean, and other
ecosystems, where it may take hundreds of years for it to break down
and endanger species.

- Huỳnh Hoa: Recycling plastic lowers greenhouse gas emissions and

air pollution from manufacturing operations by reducing the need to
produce new plastic.Additionally, recycling plastic encourages a
circular economy, which leads to more sustainable patterns of
production and consumption by reusing things repeatedly rather than
discarding them after a single use.
- Vinh: The content of this second activity has now come to an end. We
will now move on to the third part, which is the Clean Up activity.
- Thanh Thiện: The event happened about 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
The schoolyard served as the venue. The school yard still had some
rubbish, so we decided to clean it up.After the activity, we learned that
trash and rubbish that might draw pests, spread illnesses, and create an
unsanitary environment can be minimized by keeping the schoolyard
clean.Regular clean-up prevents pollution from litter that can degrade
the soil and air quality.
- Gia Huy: Also, students learn to take responsibility for their
environment, instilling values of care and ownership over shared
spaces. The last Students can learn the importance of reducing waste,
recycling, and making sustainable choices, which they can apply
beyond the schoolyard.
- Vinh: Thus, we have completed our exploration of the three activities
in the presentation. Finally, but no less important, is the In Short
section.
- Vinh: However, before we get to the In Short part, let's watch a
documentary video about the Clean Up activity. Let's begin.
- Vinh: We have just finished watching the documentary video. Now
let's listen to the reflections, which is also the In Short section
presented by Thành Đạt, Khởi Huy, and Thiên Bảo.
-
- Vinh: And that is the entire presentation from Group 2. Thank you all
for listening and following along.

- The presentation ends here. I hope you will ask questions and
provide feedback.
1.What are some ways you can conserve energy at home or school
this weekend?
Câu 1:I usually turn off lights, computers, televisions, and other
electronics when they are not in use.Unplug chargers and devices
that are not currently being charged, as they drain energy even
when idle.
2.What can you do to reduce single-use plastics in your daily life?
I'll switch to cloth or other long-lasting reusable bags for grocery
shopping and other daily activities. In addition, I often spend on a
stainless steel or glass water bottle rather than purchasing bottled
water.
If you have no further questions, we all would like to stop and thank
you so much.
