OVERVIEW
The PPL DL (A) Training Program provides appropriate theoretical knowledge and flight instruction to
students in preparation for their respective General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) examinations and
practical skill test for the issue of Private Pilot License for Aeroplanes PPL (A) in accordance with GCAA
FCL regulations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR COURSE ENROLLMENT

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
A valid Class 2 GCAA medical certificate.
Applicants must have one of the following levels at English language:-
Minimum 4.5 in IELTS( in each skill level)
Minimum of 60% in TOEFL
Minimum score of 70% in English at the FujAA Exam Center
Notes:- Applicants must be 17 years of age to be eligible for the issue of a PPL license.

COURSE DURATION
The duration of the course is approximately 33 weeks

TRAINING PROGRAM

A particular advantage of distance learning is that you can work at your own pace. As such, it is ideal for
individuals who are working full time and cannot afford to spare enough time to attend classes regularly.
The PPL DL is conducted in three phases:

e-Learning Phase i.e. self-study

Contact classes and exams at Fujairah Aviation Academy i.e. Refresher Course
Flying phase at FujAA

On completing 6 weeks from commence online study and after all online study and progress tests are
completed, the student is eligible to commence the refresher course scheduled at the academy. After
completion of the refresher course and scheduled exams, the student will commence flight training.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Students are required to complete all necessary online studies, refresher classes and all 9 GCAA exams
within 12 months from the enrollment date, failing which it'll be necessary to re-enroll for the course
and start afresh. This will include payment of applicable fees for the new course.

 PAYMENT SCHEDULE
AED 74,000/-
First installment of AED 20,000 + 5% VAT is to
be paid prior to induction training.
(AED Seventy Four Thousand Only),
+ 5% VAT. The remaining amount AED 54,000 is to be paid
in 3 equal installments of AED (3 X18,000) +
5% VAT.
