GENERAL RULES
1. Only participants and observer with ID Cards are allowed to enter the Hall.
2. STRICTLY prohibited to bringing food / drink from the outside in the competition area on 2nd floor and 2nd floor.
3. STRICTLY prohibited to wearing heels or sharp objects that damage the floor, the competition area is a
sports venue.
4. Have to bring own battery for robot which rent from committee or have your own by using AERO AA and
AAA battery type as Exclusive battery partner (sell @ Games Location).
5. Participants MUST bring along all necessary items (laptops, batteries, robotics parts, Electric Terminal).
6. STRICTLY prohibited to exchange media transfer such as external hard disk, flashdisk, smartphone, etc.
7. Participants are not allowed to out from competition area while competition is progress.
8. Participants queue number will be moved to the bottom if has called 3 times do not present in the
competition area.
9. General robot specification are limited to :
a. 1 Kg weight
b. Maximum dimension 25cm (length) x 25cm (width) x 25cm (height)
c. Cannot use rechargeable battery
d. There are exceptions on Humanoid Mission, Coding Mission, Creative Category
(Please refer to each rule details).
10. Can share the same robot for the same institution/school.
11. Competition with OPEN level category mean there is no difference of junior and senior level.
12. There are 2-time competition session
a. Session A : 10.15 – 12.00
b. Session B : 13.00 – 14.00
13. Participants have to choose which 2 maximum categories at one of the sessions (ex: participant
join 2categories on session A). it is not recommended to join more than 3 categories in session.
14. If the participant is less than 10 teams then the committee has the right to change the level of the category
to OPEN level or ELIMINATE the category unilaterally
15. Observers are NOT ALLOWED to have direct communication with the participants during the
competition.If they have any urgent request, kindly approach our staff/Liaison officer.
16. Participants should take care of personal belongings as the organizer will NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any
losses.
17. As the venue is a public location, students are remind to observer their behaviors at all times.
18. Please DO NOT DAMAGE the venue properties. The organizer will not be liable for any damages and
serious action will be taken.
19. In the even of any disagreement or misunderstanding, the judge’s decision will be FINAL.
20. Any changes to the rules and conditions will be announced to all participants before the start of the
competition. The judges will have full authority to explain and enforce the rules for all a competition.
21. Prior to the start of the competition, all robots will undergo an inspection. If the robots do not meet the
requirements, participants will be given a grace time of 15 mins to modify their robots, otherwise the
participants will be disqualified.
22. If the robots encounter any technical difficulty before the start of the match, they will be given 1 min to
do the changes to the robot.
23. Participants not allowed to touch their robots and/or remote controls during the competition unless
instructed by the judges.
24. Any act cheating and non-compliance with the rules (disturbing the remote signal/ RF / Bluetooth
frequency) will be IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED and BLACKLISTED from the IYRA & International
Competition Event

1. Objective
Brickspeed is a game that requires participants to construct a bricks set become a robot shape that
has been determined by the jury. This game test student ability to construct a robot with high
stability skill as possible. The most accurate and fastest participants who have construct the brick
will be the winner.
2. Robot Kit Used
A. Brick Model kit theme will be announced when the competition begins.
B. All robots kit used, are provided by the committee.
3. Restriction on Robot Design
Robot shape must be built, will be announced when the competition begins, just prepare yourself.
4. Game Rules
4.3. Length of a Match
There are 10 minutes for a match.
4.4. Building of Robot
Building of robot will be announced when the competition begins.
4.5. Competition Task
a. Build a robot (guidebook: include).
b. Raise your hands when finish.
c. The jury give queue number.
d. The jury will see what you have done.

Participants who have finish with the most accurate shape and fastest time will be the winner.

Mission Solve some simple mathematics calculation
Game Method Mission completion and Time record

1. Objective
Participants are required to solve some simple mathematics calculation and move the correct
answer cube to the answer area with their own robot. They must try as fast as possible to do
the calculation and move the answer cube to the answer area in the time given. Points will be
given only for the correct answer.

2. Robot Dimension and Weight


a) The size of the robot at starting box shall not exceed 25cm (height) x 25cm (length) x 25cm
(width). However, robots are allowed to expand to any size after the game start.
b) Each robot must fully comply with the size restriction.
c) All robots kit used, Will be provided by the committee.

3. Restriction on Robot Design


a) Only MRT parts are to be used to build the robot. There is no limitation to the amount of
blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts from the above-
mentioned systems for the robots.
b) However, ONLY maximum 2 number of DC motors, and 1 mainboard are allowed to use
for the competition, there is no limit on other electronic parts.
c) Robot built is allowed to modify the mechanical parts (painting/folding) but not electronic
parts. If found guilty, the player would be IMMEDIATELY disqualified.
d) Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
e) Robots are not allowed to have any power supply above 6V DC (Volt of Direct Current). VAC
(Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
f) Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena & surroundings in anyway whatsoever.
g) Robots RC receivers will need to be protected from any outside interferences.

5.1. Length of a Match
a) Each game is stipulated for 3 minutes.
b) Participant only have 5 questions.

5.3. Starting the Robot
a) The Referee make sure the robot with the new batteries.
b) Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the game.
c) All robots must place at the start area of the game field before the referee start the
game.
5.4. Competition Task
a) Participants need to control their own robot.
b) Picking up a math question (card) from a box ONLY when the referee instruct to do
so.
c) PLACE the card on the left of the start point.
d) Solve the question and control the robot to move the correct answer to the answer
area, only one answer (block with number) can allow to be move in the answer area.
e) If there are 2 blocks of numbers that enter the answer area, the points are not
counted.
f) Solve as many questions as possible during 3 minutes.
g) The students are not allowed to use any tools to do the calculation when answer a
question from the box provided.
5.5. Deciding the Winner
Each correct answer will score 1 point and the participants with the highest points and
fastest times will be the winner. Answer is accepted and checked only after cube moved
inside answer area.

1. Objective
In this exciting competition, students will have the chances to design, build, and race their
very own remote-controlled cars. The competition is all about speed and skill-two cars will go
head-to-head in a thrilling 1v1 race, and the fastest car to cross the finish line will be
crowned the winner.

2. Robot Dimension and Weight

(width).
b) Robots are not ALLOWED to expand any size after the game starts.

5.8. Starting the Robot
a) The Referee make sure the robot with the new batteries.
b) Two participants with two robots will be placed before the starting line. When the
whistle starts, participants need to control their robot to move in the racing track.
The fastest one who crosses the finishing line will be the winner.
5.9. Competition Task
a) Participants need to control their own robot.
b) The competition is knockout mode, only the winner will proceed to the next stages. Round-
robin mode will be considered depending on the number of participants.
c) The racing track will be surrounded with blocks and obstacles to avoid the car from
getting out from the racing track. There will be some obstacles on the track as well,
such as hills and low speed bumps.
d) If during the competition, the racing car gets o� the track but remains functional
(still can move), the participant must use the remote control to guide it back onto
the track.
e) If the car becomes immobile after leaving the track or not able to get back to the track, the
participant will directly lose the game.
f) During the game, participants are not allowed to touch or hold the robot, including
fixing fallen or broken parts from the robot.
g) Since this is the racing car competition, please make sure that participants play the
game using the racing car method.
5.10. Deciding the Winner
The fastest one who crosses the finishing line will be the winner.

Mission Soccer match using remote control
Game Method Tournament

1. Objective
To promote teamwork and test student ability to construct a robot with high stability and
controlling skill to play soccer game.

2. Robot Dimension and Weight


a) The size of the robot at the starting box shall not exceed 20cm (H) x 20cm (W) x 20cm (L).
However, robot is not allowed to expand to any size after the game starts.
b) The maximum weight of the robotics 1000 grams (Include batteries).

3. Restriction on Robot Design


a) Only MRT parts are to be used to build the robot. There is no limitation to the amount of
blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts from the above-
mentioned systems for the robots.
b) However, ONLY maximum 2 number of DC motors and 1 mainboard are allowed to use for the
competition.
c) Robot built is allowed to modify the mechanical parts (painting/folding) but not
electronic parts. If found guilty, the player would be IMMEDIATELY disqualified.
d) Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.

willcheck the robot structure before the competition begin.

4. Game Rules
4.1 Length of a Match
Each game is stipulated for 3 minutes. If the score is equal, 1 minute of additional time will be
given and the winner will be determined by the participant who scores first.
4.2 Building of Robot
Prebuilt and programmed.
4.3 Starting the Robot
a) Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match. The participant who remote controls the
robot shall keep distance with the game field area without touching or disturbing the game field.
b) Each team will place their robot’s in front of starting position as indicated in
SoccerGame Field diagram before the match/round begins.
4.4 Competition Tasks
a) All the games will be based on “knock out” system. All the teams will be distributed in
opposing pairs by KRON committee randomly.
b) Each team shall consist of 2 robots and 2 participants with eachparticipants controlling one
robot.
c) During the match, the participants who control their robot please keep distance with game
field, and don’t touch or damage the field.
d) A robot not allowed to handle the ball for more than 5 seconds.
e) Robots can deploy any tactics or maneuvers, as long as it does not constitute a foul.
f) The robot can only stay within the penalty area for a maximum of 5 seconds.Participant will be
warned by the jury to move their robot if the robot stay within thepenalty area more than 5
second.
g) Extra time of 1 minute shall be played only in the event of a draw.
h) Sudden death shall be played only in the event of draw on extra time.
i) The parts which are fallen or broken from the robots cannot be fixed back onto the robots
during the match, unless permitted by jury.
j) Upon removal of a robot from the playing field, it can only re-enter the game upon referee’s
approval.
k) While the match is in progress, at any time the jury whistles, the participants shouldstop the
robot.
4.5 Deciding the Winner
a) Within 3 minutes, the team with highest goals will be the winner.
b) The ‘knock-out’ stage shall not consist of any points and the winner of the game
shallproceed to the next round.
c) The time limit for extra time shall be 1 minute.
d) In the event of a DRAW by the end of extra time, sudden death round will begin. The
first team manages to score while the other did not, the scoring team will be the
winner.
4.6 Disqualification
a) Touching the robots while the match is in progress.
b) Robot does not comply with the size restrictions.

1. Objective
Provide a platform for student to showcase their creativity, innovative and
programming skills. They are required to work together as a team to design a robot
based on the given theme. Besides, they will also need to present and demonstrate
their robot creation well to convince and impress the judges.

2. Robot Dimension and Weight


Maximal robot dimension and weight is not limited. But the organizer only provides a
chair for 1 team and a table measuring 120 x 80 cm for 2 teams. (for other provided by
participant).

3. Restriction on Robot
A. Participants are allowed to used products other than MRT such as arduino etc. There
is no limitation to the amount of blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to
cross use the parts from the above-mentioned systems for the robots.
B. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
C. Robots allowed to move or make motion autonomously OR use remote control.
D. Robots can use and add other materials such as camera, sensors, paper, rings, clips,

chopsticks, paper cups, and 3D Printing materials etc.


E. VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for safety
reasons.
F. Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena & surroundings in anyway
whatsoever.
G. Robots will need to protect their sensors if necessary from any outside interference.
H. It is allowed to use platforms like Blynk, Adafruit IO, Thing speak, etc.
I. Internet connection set up by each team.
J. Allowed Wi-Fi module to be a controller board such as ESP8266, ESP32, etc.
K. Any need for a presentation simulation is prepared by the team or participants.

4. Game Rules
4.1 Method of a Match
a. Participants shall build a robot in advance.
b. Participants are given 2 hours duration to prepare their robot.
c. Each group has presentation time of 5 minutes to introduce their robots to the
referee on the stage. Presentation can be done in English. If they are unable to
present in English they have to prepare their own translator.
d. Robots may be displayed in/around the venue. The team members or teacher
may keep the robots and explain to the public.
e. Participants should carry the printed manual (presentation). About the manual,
please refer to the rule
f. Theme : UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
g. The themes are selected among 17 SDGs proposed by the United Nations. The
robot can be based on one of the following fields ( https://sdgs.un.org/goals ):

4.2 Deciding the Winner


a. The judges will check if the team meets the requirements or not, and
evaluate teams’
