INTRODUCTION AND DESIGN OF THE STUDY
ABSTRACT
The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, including a survey of 174 LG air
conditioner users. The findings indicate that customers are generally satisfied with LG's air
conditioners’ quality, reli
ity, and after-sales service, but pricing is identified as a significant
factor impacting satisfaction, The study provides recommendations for LG to improve
customer satisfaction, including improving energy efficiency and offering competitive prices
and promotional offers. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into customer satisfaction
with domestic LG air conditioners in Erode city and offers practical recommendations for
LG to improve its product and marketing strategies.

1.1 INTRODUCTION
Electronic goods are becoming a basic need rather than a luxury. The manufactures have
bought out numerous models of superior technology. A number of electronic goods are
ferent features. The consumers have a wide choice of
available in the market today with
electronic goods. Before the liberalization of the Indian economy, only a few companies like
Kelvinator, Godrej, Allwin and Vokas were the major players in the consumer durable market.
After the liberalization, foreign buyer like score card. In a competitive marketplace where
business compete for customers, customer satisfaction and preference are seen as a key
differentiator and increasingly has become a key element of business strategy.
Consumer preference is a general termed applied to all faces to marketing products and
services. This is not to be confused with the more specific term brand preference, which relates
to consumers preference to one brand over competing brands. If one brand is unavailable,
consumers will likely choose another brand to fill the gap.

perceived performance (outcome) in relation to his/her expectations customer satis!
