AFFIDAVIT

I, Reji Varghese, aged 55 years, S/o.K.P.Varghese, Kavungamoolayil


Kiluthattle Alambil House, Thachamvelimala Road, Behind Mini
Municipal Town Hall, Kangarappady, Vadacode P.O., Vadacode Desam,
Thrikkakara North Village, Kanayannur Taluk, Ernakulam District, Pin-
682021, do hereby solemnly affirm and state as follows:-
1. I am the petitioner in the above writ petition. I know the facts of the
case and I am competent to swear this affidavit.
2. That as per the order dated 20/12/2024 from Hon’ble court I have
approach the 3rd respondent for settlement of my account and
submitted application on 23/12/2024. But the 3rd respondent has not
considered the application and oral informed that they are ready for
settlement as OTS. But they also informed that it will take time for
issue of letter for OTS. Further, the vehicle is LPG Cylinder carrier
having contract with Petroleum Company which is an essential
commodity service. The vehicle permit has already expired, and each
day attract fine for delay of renewal of permit from the 2nd respondent.
Therefore it is highly necessary to renew the permit at the earliest.

3. However, when this Writ Petition came up for hearing before this Hon'ble
Court on 20/12/2024, the 3rd respondent is prayed for filing counter. The
case was posted 14/01/2025, Therefore it is highly necessary to direct
the 2nd respondent to renew the permit with immediate effect
otherwise the petitioner will need to pay huge amount as penalty for
delay for permit renewal.
4. Therefore, in the circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice,
I am filing an application to interim order for direct the 2nd respondent to
renew the permit with immediate effect. For the same accompanying
petition is filed along with affidavit, that the petition may be allowed or
else, I will be put to irreparable loss and injury.

What all stated above are true and correct to the best of my knowledge,
information and belief.
