WRITING TASK 1

The given diagrams compare the future and current instruction of Biology School in certain
universities.

In general, there will be extensive development with regard to facilities, buildings in the
school site although its central library and indoor sports hall will not develop as the others.

Currently, there is only one teaching building and a single lecture room at the south of the
school campus. In the future, these buildings are predicted to increase in number and will
then be connected with a path. Located behind the lecture room, the IT center will be moved
to the right hand corner, while the coffee shop is planned to be situated between the
teaching space and lecture rooms.

Furthermore, a part of the woodland in the north is planned to be deforested and replaced
by a new laboratory and an office building. In addition, the south-west corner will be
occupied with a new car park serving staff. Whereas in the future blueprint, the indoor sport
hall at the south-west and Central library which is easily spotted in the heart of the school
site will stay intact. Finally, the drama centre located at the right hand side of the central
library will be changed into a music centre.

WRITING TASK 2

At present time, there is a considerable debate surrounding a hot topic - crime. Some
people reckon that youngsters committing dangerous crimes had better be punished as
adults while others argue that we should give them another chance to realize their faults.
From my perspective, I strongly agree with the latter viewpoint.

It's undeniable that a common practice, even the tiniest things can have a huge impact on
the young generation. In the social ages, children are allowed to access a wide range of
information which have both pros and cons, some violent contents are not exceptional. As a
result, the young easily have aggressive behavior and inhuman practices, leading to some
unfortunate consequences such as murder, theft, etc. Therefore, the authority and
government should implement more strict rules especially for young adults.

However, commiting crime is undesirable, the social community should give the younger
people more opportunities in order to realize and fix their wrongdoing. In fact, the lack of
care and educational training from family and school should be responsible for children’s
mistakes. Punishing by law is a necessity but they should not be treated as adults while
their ways of thinking do not correspond with their punishments. Government and authority
should create a balanced environment for the younger generation in order to prevent the
rate of teenage crimes.

In conclusion, adolescents should not be treated as adult criminals. Instead, governments


should adopt appropriate measures to educate them effectively. Additionally, parents and
schools play a crucial role in nurturing children in an environment that discourages violence
and promotes positive values.
