David wasn’t sure what he was good at. But his brothers
were good at many things. When they played soccer, ran a
race, or had a concert, David would cheer for them. Then
he would share the stories with his friends. David retold the
exciting parts, and his friends got excited. He retold the funny
parts, and his friends laughed out loud.
“Your stories are great, David,” said his best friend Peter.
“You should write them down.”
So David wrote about the time his brothers won the soccer
cup. He wrote about the time his brother sat on the guitar.
Soon, David’s stories were famous.
“I know what my brothers are good at,” said David.
“And I know what I’m good at, too!”
