Back bodice
A-B = Back nape to waist
A-D= ¼ Bust - ½ ’’. Square out line from B and D.
A-C = ½ shoulder. square down from C to D line and mark E.

A- x =1". Square out a line.

A- G=Neck width= 1/12 of bust - ¼ ”. Square up from G to x line. Mark H. Draw back neck from
A-H

B-F = Front shoulder slope + ⅛ ”. Connect H and F for Shoulder.

D -I = ¼ bust + ½ ”
B-J= ¼ waist + dart intake + ease

B-O = ½ D-E . Square a line from O to chest line.

Mark 1 " down from the chest line D. Mark N.

Draw dart legs.

M = ½ F-E. Square in a line from M to center back and Mark ‘y’.

Measure ½ across back from y.Name as ‘z’ .

Draw armhole shape connecting F, z, and E.

Front bodice

A-B= Front high point shoulder to waist.

A -D = ¼ bust - ½”. Square out line from B and D.

A-C = ½ shoulder. Square down from C to D line and Mark E.

A- G=Neck width= 1/12 of bust - ¼ ”. Square down a line from G.

A-H= neck depth=1/12 of bust + ¼ ”. Square out a line and meet the G line Mark ‘x’

Draw front neck using French curve.

B-F = Front shoulder slope + ⅛ ”. Connect G and F for Shoulder.

D -I = ¼ bust + ¾ ”
B-J= ¼ waist + dart intake + ease
B-O = ½ Bust span. Square a line from O to chest line.

Mark mid shoulder to bust point and mark N as bust point. Mark dart intake and draw dart
legs.

M = ⅓ F-E. Square in a line from M to center front and Mark ‘y’.

Measure ½ across front from y. Name as ‘z’ .

Draw armhole shape connecting F, z, and E.

Sleeve

A - B = sleeve length.

A-E = ¼ armhole measurement ( front armhole + back armhole)

B- I =B-H= ½ sleeve around

A- F = A - G = ½ armhole . Mark front and back.

Divide A-F and A - G into four parts.

Mark M,N,O on front armhole and J,K,L on back armhole.

Measure the following from:

M-square out ⅜ ”
O- square out ½ ”
J- square out ⅝ ”
K- square out ⅜ ”
Join M, N,O and I for front armhole.
Join J, K, L and I for back armhole

Skirt pattern

Front skirt pattern

A-B = skirt length.

square out from A and B.

A-D= waist to hip. square out from D


A-C=¼ waist + dart intake + ease
D-E= ¼ hip + ½ ”
Square out from C and E ½ ”. Mark x
B-F = D-E+2”

Connect x - E using a hip curve and join E-F


Mark 3/4” from F and draw the shape

Back skirt pattern


Repeat the instructions for back skirt pattern

For darts:

At the back divide A-C line and mark O. square out 3 ½ ” and draw dart legs.

At front mark ½ bust span from A and mark N. Square out 4 ½ ” and draw dart legs .
