designed to house the prison population of the Philippines.

On February 8, 2024, 200 inmates were transferred from the New Bilibid
Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City to the LRP. The inmates were escorted by
corrections officers, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams, and
escort personnel. The transferred inmates will help the LRP expand its
"Green Revolution" program and contribute to its manpower. to those in
custody.
