Project Details & Responsibilities:

 Facilitated the notification of the Chandigarh Energy Conservation Building Code, 2024 (CHECBC, 2024)
and Rules (CHECBCR, 2024), and the Chandigarh Eco Niwas Samhita (CHENS) with relevant authorities.
 Integrated CHECBC-2024 (Code) and CHECBCR-2024 (Rules) into the Chandigarh Building Rules-2017.
 Assisted in integrating CHECBC and CHECBCR-2024 into the online building approval system for the
Chandigarh Smart City Office and Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.
 Provided hand-holding support to SDA and U.T. Government departments for energy efficien- compliance
evaluation.
 Coordinated with U.T. Administration departments to enforce CHECBC, CHECBCR-2024, and ENS
regulations, enhancing stakeholder collaboration.
 Contributed to the revision of the Schedule of Rates to include energy-efficient materials specifications
