MOC for Guest Lecture

Dr. Pethuru Raj

Good morning, Ladies and gentlemen. I, Mansha Bhatia, feel privileged to welcome you all
on behalf of Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management.

SIDTM, a constituent of Symbiosis International University, is the pioneer institute in


imparting managerial education in the field of Digital, Telecom & IT. We, at SIDTM, are
committed to developing world-class ICT Business Leaders who can effectively handle the
dynamic and ever-changing technological and business paradigms with absolute ease and
knowledge.

I would now like to introduce our guest for the day, Dr.Pethuru Raj. Sir is Currently serving
as the Chief Architect at Reliance Jio Platforms Ltd. (JPL) in Bangalore, Sir, brings a wealth of
experience from some of the industry's most renowned institutions. Prior to joining Jio , Sir
held pivotal roles in IBM Global Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), Wipro Consulting Services
(WCS), and Robert Bosch Corporate Research (CR). This journey has equipped Dr. Raj with a
profound understanding of the intricacies of technology and its dynamic evolution.

Not only Sir is a seasoned professional, but a scholar of great distinction. Having completed
a CSIR-sponsored PhD degree at Anna University, Chennai, Sir continued to contribute
significantly to the academic world through a UGC-sponsored postdoctoral research stint at
the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science (IISc),
Bangalore. Following this, he earned international recognition, being granted research
fellowships (JSPS and JST) to work as a research scientist for 3.5 years in two leading
Japanese universities. With a career spanning over 23 years in the IT industry, Dr. Raj has
carved a remarkable path, leaving an indelible mark on the technological landscape.
