ABSTRACT
Investment in development of food service technology is considered as
luxury as the sector comprises predominantly by small and medium size
businesses that may not be able to afford the heavy costs involved. However
rapid innovative products or service. Such hardware or software
development enables food and beverage outlets to increase quality of
product, productivity and profitability. Technology is developing at an ever
increasing pace and dramatically changes business models in the hotel. The
project aims to illustrate that investment in technological advancement
within the food service sector is happening in a number of areas and
highlights benefits in the areas of quality, cost, speed, dependency, flexibility
and employee training.

INTRODUCTION
Currently, the restaurants are facing the problem of time
which is consumed by the typical process of order placing. The
customer goes into the restaurant, then he does not know
whether there is seat available or not. After that, moreover, the
waiter will come then order will be placed, this process is
totally carried out by waiter so, it can cause any human errors.
The customers are more concerned about the service
and hospitality of restaurants. As from the observation, now a
day, some restaurants are providing phablets to the customer
table.

Problem Statement
In hotels or restaurants many problems faced by the
customers with services, like waiters may misplace the order,
forgets the order and also the customers should wait a long-side
queue to place the order and should also wait in a queue at
billing sessions, even the customer should wait for a long time
to get his order delivered and also if a customer enters into a
hotel he might not be knowing whether there is a available or
not. Robotic Automated Food Service Provider in Hotel
with Mat-lab based Individual Menu System is a best
choice.

Hardware
ARM 7 Processor
• ARM documentation set for the ARM7 family of CPU processor core,
including ARM7TDMI, ARM7TDMI-S, ARM7EJ-S and ARM720T
• The ARM7 family is a range of low-power 32-bit RISC microprocessor
cores optimized for cost and power-sensitive consumer applications.
L298 Driver
• The L298 is an integrated monolithic circuit in a 15-lead Multi watt and
PowerSO20 packages.
• It is a high voltage, high current dual full-bridge driver designed to
accept standard TTL logic levels.

IR Sensor
• IR sensor is a simple electronic device which emits and detects IR
radiation in order to find out certain objects/obstacles in its range.
• IR Sensor is consist of two circuits, IR transmitter, and IR receiver.
ZigBee
• ZigBee is a low-power, low data rate, and close proximity (i.e., personal
area) wireless ad hoc network.
• ZigBee is an IEEE 802.15.4 based specification for a suite of high-level
communication protocols used to create personal area networks with
small, low-power digital radios.

Arduino UNO
• The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328.
• It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM
outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, USB connection,
a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.

Software
Keil µVision
• The µVision IDE combines project management, run-time environment,
build facilities, source code editing, and program debugging in a single
powerful environment.
• The µVision Debugger provides a single environment in which you may
test, verify, and optimize your application code.
Flash Utility
• µVision integrates utilities and interfaces to invoke external tools.
• Configuration Wizard: Enhance startup and initialization files with
GUI-like controls.
• Searching for Text: Find text patterns using various search features.
• Source Browser: View information about the use of program symbols.
• Flash Menu: Program Flash and configure Flash utilities.

Arduino Compiler
• Arduino is an open-source project, enabling hobbyists to easily take
advantage of the powerful Atmega chips.
• The Arduino IDE is the software where you can write code and upload it
to the Atmega chip. The code is then executed on the chip.
MATLAB
• MATLAB was written originally to provide easy access to matrix
software developed by the LINPACK (linear system package) and
EISPACK (Eigen system package) projects.
• MATLAB is a high-performance language for technical computing. It
integrates computation, visualization, and programming environment.
