Job Responsibilities

 Understanding business domain use cases.

 Collaborate diligently with Product Development Manager, Quality Assurance & Software
Development, Business Implementation teams in instrumenting their workflow to build a
comprehensive picture of velocity, coverage and quality.

 Understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

 Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality,
usability, performance, and compatibility across different platforms.

 Automating repeated tasks and writing automated test scripts using different test frameworks
like Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Postman etc.

 Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

 Analyzing bugs & errors, investigating and reporting root causes.

 Preparing the status report and regularly updating the progress of self testing activities.

 Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.

 Managing feature documentation, troubleshooting FAQs and finding defects using different
software tools.

 Document and track defects through to resolution, utilizing industry-standard defect tracking
tools.

 Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and
retrospectives.

 Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures to enhance


efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications

 Must have 2+ years of professional experience in software testing.

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent


practical experience.

 Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.


 Knowledge in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

 Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

 Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)

 Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)

 Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

 Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams and levels of
the organization.

 Keen to learn best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software quality assurance
and testing.
