Tips and suggestions:

◦ Studying pt 365: Important magazines are economy, environment and S&T. Cover them thoroughly, can make
short notes if required (for facts and all).
◦ Revise two subjects daily: the best way to maximise efficiency is studying two subjects simultaneously, one in
the first half of the day and second in another half. Preferably take one tough subject and one easier one ( like
polity).
◦ It’s important to assess mock test after attempting. It’s not necessary to do that immediately, but some after
after that.
◦ Number of mocks can vary from person to person, attempt based on your comfort level. Also, from mocks try
to decide the optimum number of questions you would be doing in the real exam.
◦ Do not get deviated by tonnes of current affairs here and there, stick to one and most importantly never leave
static.
◦ IR component is on rise from past few years, can easily expect 4-5 questions this time also. Use CA magazine
to prepare it well.
◦ For S&T: use YouTube and prepare topics of genetics which upsc has asked multiple times. Study about latest
technology in IT etc.
◦ Don’t get disheartened by mocks marks, they are just for exercise and do not reflect actual paper marks.
◦ Try to give All India full length mock tests conducted by some reputed institutions, that way you can get used to
different type of questions and can get a feel of real exam.
