The following chart shows the results of a British survey taken in 2009 related to housing preferences

of UK people.

The bar chart illustrates housing preferences of people who lived in British cities of Liverpool, London
and Manchester in the year 2009.

Overall, living in a apartment was a popular choice among Livepool residents, while people who living in
London and Maschester had a tendency towards semi-detached houses. In contrast, the lowest figures
for terracced houses in all three cities.

As can be seen from the chart, almost 60% of people answered the survey in Liverpool prefer
apertments, meanwhile that figures nearly doubling and tripling of London and Manchester,
respectively. In contrast, terraced houses was a much less popular choice, accounting for just under 20%
in London and around 10% in both remaining cities.

Looking more detail at the chart, there was an equal proportion of citiznes choosing semi-detached
houses in both London and Manchester with over a third of surver participants, while mostly double that
figures of Liverpool. Manchester residents also prefered living in detached houses roundly 35%, which
only about 10% and 20% higher than in comparison with that of London and Liverpool respectively.
