Outlook Issues BraintreeNotes
Sometimes, Outlook processes linger even after you close the application.
Open the Windows Task Manager (press Ctrl + Sft + Esc or right-click the
taskbar and choose "Start Task Manager"). Look for all OUTLOOK.EXE
processes and end them.
Launch Outlook without add-ins and customization files. Hold the Ctrl
key while clicking on the Outlook icon, or run outlook.exe /safe from the
command line.
File > Options > Add-ins > Manage > (COM Add-in) Go >
Disable/untick all the addins then Click OK
Use the Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.EXE) to fix corrupted data files
(PST)
5. Run the Command: In the “Open” box, type Outlook.exe /resetnavpane and
hit OK.
This command resets the navigation pane in Outlook, which can resolve issues
related to navigation, profile corruption, or startup problems.

1. Check for manual email configuration.
a. Go to File > Account Settings > Server Settings > Change the
necessary address

Re-build the search Index
Go to File > Options > Search > Index Option > Advance > Rebuild Index
OST
You can find the OST file by going to :
C drive > Users > Username > Appdata (hidden) > Local > Microsoft >
Outlook
Path: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
You can repair the OST file renaming it or deleting it. Deleting the OST file will
re-create the file again because of IMAP protocol.
PST
Repairing PST / .pst file is done through a repairing tool. It can be a third party
or built-in tool provided by Microsoft.
