DRAWING NUMBERING ASSIGNMENT

1.- Purpose:
This document defines the procedure for numbering drawing sheets in design packages and their respective drawing
description, including stage of the process where the drawing will be used and the department responsible for the
creation and control of each drawing.

2.- Scope:
This document applies to all drawings generated during the design process including Electrical, Control and
Mechanical drawings.

3.- Contents:
The following table shows how drawings should be identified based on their content.
All drawings shall be saved as PDF loaded into JIMS application to be distributed and controlled.

The file name will be as follows:

61xxx-xx.xx Rev xx Where: “x” represents a numeric character.

JN DN RL

JN= Job Number.................................................Defined by the first 5 characters, example (61614,61578,61710, etc.).

DN = Drawing Number…....................................................................................................As specified on table below.
RL = Revision Level …………….........................Represented by the las 2 characters, example ( 01, 02, 08, 12, etc.).
