Cash Bar Service
Individuals pay the bartender per drink. A variety of house and call liquors will be provided as well as bottled beer, house wines and non-alcoholic beverages. There is no cost to the group unless bar sales fail to meet a consumption minimum of $200.00. If the minimum is not met, the difference will be charged to the host account. The minimum is subject to an 18% taxable service charge and 6% Michigan sales tax.
Host Bar
The group, company or specified individual will be responsible for all the costs incurred during the specified time for the drinks served at the bar. The bar will be stocked according to the hosts preferences. The $200.00 consumption minimum will apply. All beverage sales are subject to an 18o taxable service charge and a 6% Michigan sales tax.
Cash/Host Served Cocktails
A cocktail server can provide beverage service for groups of 30 or less. Regular bar prices will be used and host cocktail service is subject to an 18% taxable service charge and 6% Michigan sales tax. There will be a $10.00 per hour fee for a cocktail server.
As a MLCC Licensed Establishment, all products to be provided must be purchased by the Holiday Inn West Bay from licensed purveyors. All consumption of alcoholic beverages is restricted to persons 21 years of age or more. No alcoholic beverages of any kind may be brought into our banquet rooms. We will close the bar(s) ~f any offense violating the MLCC or State Penal Code is not handled appropriately by the organization or contracting party.
