Electromagnet are used in home devices

such as electric fan, electric doorbell,

induction cooker, magnetic locks,
speakers etc
In an electric fan, the electromagnetic
induction keeps the motor rotating on and
on making the blade of the fan to rotate
The electromagnet in a doorbell attracts
the clapper, which hits the bell and makes
it ring. An electric motor is a device that
uses an electromagnet to change
electrical energy to kinetic energy.
Induction stoves and cooktops work with
electromagnetic energy, similar to
microwave ovens. This type of cooking
uses electromagnetic energy to heat items
from the inside out. Very high levels of EMF
radiation are used in currents to heat up
the pan
Data are stored in hard
disk drives on the basis of
magnetism. ... An
electromagnetic head is
used to store data into
these cells since an
electromagnet can
reverse its own polarity by
reversing the direction of
current flowing through it
enabling it to rearrange
the polls of the tiny hard
disk drive magnets.
The sound equipment used in homes such
as speakers used with personal computers,
headphones and hands-free use
electromagnets to produce sound.
The industries that regularly
use industrial magnets in their
operations are the
automobile, electronics,
plastics, glass and ceramics,
shipping, construction,
mining, food and
pharmaceutical industries.
They use Electromagnets to
facilitate production and for
generating energy.
Electromagnets are also used
in implementing industry
safeguards.
The electromagnet plays a
very important role in a
portable magnetic drill press,
as it helps the machine to be
steady, does not let the
machine dismount during
drilling, can work with the
machine overhead,
horizontal or vertical . The
Motor in the drilling machine
also uses electromagnets to
spin the main spindle.
Generators in turbine
typically use an
electromagnet, which is
created by electricity and
a rapidly spinning turbine
to produce massive
amounts of current. ...
Each part of the wire coil
then turns into a small,
individual electric
conductor and the tiny
currents of individual
sections merge to create
a single large current
An induction heater consists
of an electromagnet and
an electronic oscillator that
passes a high-frequency
alternating current (AC)
through the electromagnet.
The rapidly alternating
magnetic field penetrates
the object, generating
electric currents inside the
conductor, called eddy
currents.
Loudspeakers, headphones, electric bells,
and magnetic recording and data storage
equipment, such as tape recorders. The
multimedia and entertainment industry
relies on electromagnets to create devices
and components, such as VCRs and hard
drives.
The design of MRI is
essentially determined by
the type and format of the
main magnet, i.e. closed,
tunnel-type MRI or open
MRI. The most commonly
used magnets are
superconducting
electromagnets. These
consist of a coil that has
been made
superconductive by helium
liquid cooling, and
immersed in liquid helium.
Many simple electromagnets use copper
wire likely because of its strong due to its
effectiveness as an electromagnetic coil
shown in my research. If there is a more
effective substance to use as a coil in an
electromagnet we can assume it is
impractical or expensive due to the fact
that copper is widely used .Electromagnets
are very easy to build, and they can be
controlled. They aren’t dangerous.
