Module Overview
Reading aloud is widely recognized as the single most important activity leading to language development. Among
other things, reading aloud builds word-sound awareness. Just as one practices a musical instrument or an athletic
skill; students need daily reading practice if they are to improve their reading skills. Extensive reading has been linked
to improvement in general knowledge, vocabulary, spelling, verbal fluency, and reading comprehension.
This module will help you in pronouncing some of the common words used in daily life. It will help you to understand
the on correct pronunciation and recognition of words.
