Our way of living in todays generation is different from before.

In the past,
people have different kinds of tools, equipments and strategies whether in
terms of communication, entertainment, business or even in education. Living
in todays generation, it makes our way of living more easier and convenient in
many ways. For me in this digital age, the most beneficial for me was having
and using cellphone or mobile phone apart from it is lightweight and easy to
carry, it is also easy to use.Through this gadget it benefits me in my daily life
in the following;

Mobile phones made our means of communication easier. Before the


traditional way of communication was through letters which take a months
before the letter could be send to the receiver. But today, we can
communicate with anyone anywhere at anytime. Today, with the help of a
mobile phone we can easily talk or video chat with anyone across the globe
by just moving our fingers. Now we can be connected to our friends, relatives
at any time we want through many apps. Now we can talk video chat with
whoever we want, through mobile phone or smartphone.

Apart from this, mobile phone also keeps us updated about the whole world.
Now no matter where I am as long as there was an internet I can be updated
about the happenings around me. Before to be able to get updated and
connected about the events and happenings in the world, one should watch
on a television, listening on radio or even buy and read newspaper. But today,
we can be updated by using our mobile phone because the news were also
uploaded now in different apps in our mobile phone.

In terms of education, mobile phone also plays a significant role. As student,


smartphones helps me in my education. When I was on my primary and
secondary, we are required to write all the lessons first before our teacher
dismiss the class but now the students like me can take a picture of the
lesson and write it down when I was at home. And when I was in my
highschool days, when we need an article or we encounter unfamilliar words
we need to visit library and browse many books which took our time. Now we
can get easy access of information through mobile phones in just one click
which is more convenient and time saving.

In the past two years, smartphones play a crucial role in education. It was
year 2019 when the world experienced the outbreak of Covid 19 which is a
communicable disease that is why the government decided to conduct a
lockdown to reduce the numbers of people being infected. Through
smartphones, education was being continued because there are several types
of platforms that can be use to resume the classes.

I am a type of person that wants to take a picture or video of something or


someone I want. Smartphone made it possible for me everyday. Before to
have a picture was expensive that is why the people only take a picture during
special ocation. Now we can take a picture of anything we want at anytime
through the use of mobile phone. Sometimes, when the view or scenery was
eye cathching I took a picture of it on that time. When I visit a new place I
want to have a picture or video with that because now we can have a quality
picture by just having smartphone.

Smartphone is useful for those who wants adventure or traveller. Nowadays


during fieldtrips, smartphones is very useful just like our fieldtrip in baguio last
year. We can take as many pictures and videos we want. Through this, it
helps us to capture the beauty of something or someone and keep it. So when
the time comes that we are no longer at that place, atleast we are able to
keep a photo of it and looks like it happened yesterday.

In business, poeple can now have and do a business through smartphones.


There are a lot of platforms where they can do their business like posting it
online like on facebook, selling products and items while being live in tiktok as
well as on shoppee and lazada and many more. Before they can only sell
products by having a place on their homes or having a shop. Nowadays, they
can sell it worldwide. As a costumer the way of shoppinv now through online
is much easier for us. For example, before If I need something on my school
projects or any materials, I need to buy it from a distant shop since it is not
available on the shop near on us. Nowadays, we can shop online and our
item will be deliver in just a days which make it more convenient for us
because we do not need to go in a market full of crowd.

Through smartphone we can also meet someone new from different places
thrpugh social media. By using social media, it helps us to connect and make
friends with others. Social media is also use for adovocating advocacy and
awareness. Social media is the most easiest platforms that can be used in
raising awareness and advocacy because anyone had access on this and use
in the whole world. Anyone with social media can raise awareness of
something that is needed an attention and immediate action of the authority or
individual. For example, an individual notice that there was a problem in a
certain place that is not solve for how many years. They can post it on social
media so that the authorities and individual living there can make an action
and solve the problem.

In summary, smartphones have many uses nowadays. We can do anything


we want on it since it makes everything more convenient for us in many ways.
Among all the gadgets, smartphones is the most lightweight and easy to carry
that is why most people prefer to use it than the others. Nowadays, all people
are benefitted in using smartphone in many ways.
