INTRODUCTION

This call is regarding your interview for the Human Resources Internship you have applied for.
Is this the right time to talk to you?
If "NO" –

your interview.

If “YES” – Proceed

Before moving ahead, I would like to inform you that this call is being recorded for quality and training
purposes. Are you comfortable with this?
If "NO" to recording – Since you are not comfortable with the call recording, we can take the interview in a
zoom meeting.
If "YES" to zoom meeting – “Please tell me a suitable time to schedule a zoom meeting with you. I
will schedule the meeting and you will receive the meeting link by mail. Thank you so much & have a
nice day.
If "NO" to zoom meeting – “Since you said no to the recording, I regret to inform you that this is our
company’s policy to have the interviews recorded and we will not be able to take your application
forward for the internship”

If "YES" to recording – Proceed

I hope that you have read the job description before applying for this internship.
If "YES" or "NO" – I would like to tell you that our organisation focuses on your learning and how you apply
your learning on the job, so this internship is for 3 months and is completely unpaid, are you
comfortable with that?

If not interested – “Thank you for your interest in the internship & have a nice day”

If asked change in tenure – “What is your reason for this change? (Wait for response) Usually, it’s not
possible to change the internship tenure. I can contact the SME (Subject Matter Expert) & POC (Point Of
Contact) then let you know if it’s possible.” Tenure cannot be reduced more than 2 months.

If asked for pay/stipend – “Currently we are not offering any paid internship” “certificate of completion
and letter of recommendation based on your performance would be provided after you complete the
internship”

If asked for job/full-time – “Currently we don't have any job openings, but as our organisation is
expanding, if any opportunity opens up our interns would surely be considered based on their performance”.
If "YES" to 3 months unpaid internship – Proceed

Please confirm some details for me-

● May I know your age?

Minimum age – 18 years 4 months for all candidates


Maximum age (No work experience) – 25 years for freshers
No max. age limit for people with work/internship experience

If the candidate is less than 18 years 4 months


“Can you please let me know when you’ll be 18 years and 4 months of age”
If within 3 weeks – Proceed
If more than 3 weeks – “As per company policy, we cannot proceed with your application as the
minimum age requirement for this internship is 18 years and 4 months”

If the candidate is more than 25 years – “Do you have any work or internship experience?”
If experienced – Proceed (Any kind of work experience is accepted, even non-HR)
If not experienced – “As per our company policy we cannot proceed with your application since it
does not meet our work experience requirement, we will have to close your application”

● What is your highest qualification? Minimum qualification - 12th pass


If not 12th pass – “We will not be able to take your application forward for the internship”

● Kindly confirm your email id and phone number (Either ask them to speak it or you speak it)

If interning anywhere else – “May I know when your internship is expected to end?”
If more than 3 weeks – “As per our company's policy you cannot intern anywhere else while
you are interning with us, so we cannot proceed with your application and have to close it” “You
can apply again when your tenure is getting over”
If getting over within 3 weeks – Proceed

If candidate has full-time/part-time job – “We have 6 hour shifts in the morning and night, how will you
manage the shift timing along with your job?”
If the answer is "YES, I’ll manage” or similar – Proceed
If the answer is "NO, I can’t" or similar – “The shift timings are strictly 6 hours for morning and
night shifts. No compromise can be made on that”

● Are you a fresher or do you have any kind of work experience? (No need if asked at “Age” part)
INTERVIEW

5. What are the divisions in the HR domain? / Are you familiar with the basic functions of HR?
(Recruitment, HR Employee Relations, Payroll, etc.)

6. In your opinion, what will be the biggest challenges of this role?

If you are an HR person, would you hire someone with a 10-month career break? (Wait answer
"Yes"/"No" then ask) Why?

What do you know about our organisation BasketHunt? (Regardless of answer)

BasketHunt Private Limited began as an e-commerce startup in April 2020 by our founders Mr. Vishal
Kumar Gupta and Mr. Sujeet Kumar Gupta. The headquarters of the organisation is located in Sahibganj,
Jharkhand. We have further expanded our business into computer-related services like AI, robotics, cloud
computing, and web services. After being successful in both lines of business, we launched our own
BasketHunt academy, BasketHunt travels, etc. Our most recent project is “School of Interns”.
Further information about the organisation will be provided in your training session if you’re selected.

Now I will be sharing some details about this internship, kindly make a note of it.

Shall I move ahead?

This unpaid internship is for 3 months. There will be a 1 week training period before the internship
starts. This 1 week of training will not be included in your internship duration. In case you miss the
training sessions, you may be dropped out from the internship.

If asked for change in tenure; about pay/stipend, job – Refer HR Interview Script

We have 2 shift timings- the morning shift is from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM, night shift is from 06:00 PM
to 12:00 AM. You can choose it according to your preference.

If asked about shift timings change – “You can change the shift timings only once for the entire duration of
your internship, for that you have to inform your SME with the valid reason for the shift, it will be changed if
the SME approves of it.”

If asked about joining shift at other time – “In case due to some genuine reason you’re unable to log in on
your shift time, update your SME or POC (Point Of Contact), this cannot be done daily” “Shift timings are 6
hours strictly"

CALL ENDING

● Do you have a stable internet connection and laptop for this internship?
Candidate must have a laptop & stable connection for the internship
If "NO" – “A laptop/stable internet is necessary for this internship, is it possible for you to arrange a
laptop/stable internet connection?”
If "NO" – “Unfortunately it’s not possible to continue with your application, if you’re able to
arrange a laptop/stable internet connection later on you can apply again.”
If “YES” – “How will it take you to arrange that?”
If within 3 weeks – Proceed
If more than 3 weeks – “In that case it’s not possible to continue with your application,
you can apply again once you arrange a laptop/stable internet connection.

● Is there anything you want to add or share apart from what you have already mentioned?

● Do you have any doubts or questions that you want to ask me?
(Ask this again if you cleared a doubt until the candidate says "NO" other doubts)

● When can you join the internship?


(Confirm from candidate and inform next onboarding date)
Onboarding on friday- “If you get selected, we onboard new interns on friday so is it ok for you to join
the upcoming friday that is on Date (example- August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, etc.)?”

● Finally, in case you are selected you will receive a selection email with a documentation form link, if
you do not fill the form, you may not receive the onboarding email.
