Now go tools> select ADUC (active directory users and computers)

>domain name (tesda.gov or css.org depends in what you set as root domain name)
right click> New> Oraginiztional Unit> set name for organizational unit (ex. oucss, css
ou and etc)

Now go back to the domain name (tesda.gov, css.org) Find what name you set for OU,
right click > new, right click> Users> Set name for users> set password> uncheck the
first box, and check 2nd and 3rd box> next> finish
Again go back to tools> find DHCP, click> IPv4 right click> New scope> set name ex.
css scope>

set ip address range (start and end)> click next until you see finish> finish

Folder Redirection
In Server’s PC> go to file explorer>this pc> local disk d> make new folder name it as
accounts or users> select the file then right click> properties> sharing> advance
sharing> check share this folder> then go to permission> click add under group or
user’s name> simply type au (authenticated users)> ok> now check permission for
authenticated users, full control> apply> ok> apply again > then ok
After that copy the network path> go to group policy management (server manager> tools> gpm
or administrative tools> gpm)> expand your domain name> expand domain> find your OU
name, right click> create gpo> set name for your gpo (ex. Css gpo)

*note: not in the domain name magright click ha, expand it and find your ou file. You’ll definitely
encounter trouble for being impatient

Now that you have your gpo, right click> edit> under user configuration, expand policies>
expand windows settings> click folder redirection> right click desktop> properties> change it to
basic> and paste network path below> go to settings uncheck first box and check the 2nd and
third box> apply> yes> then repeat to other needed for folder redirection

Now go turn off firewall of both Client’s PC and Server (server: domain,public &
private client: public &private)
Joining Client’s PC to Server PC
Client’s PC
Go to ncpa.cpl (Network Connections)> Ethernet Properties> IPv4 Properties>
Obtain yung upper part> then the lower part is use the following DNS server
address> set server’s ip address for preffered DNS server> ok

Make sure that it will connect to server’s pc (the network name should be the domain
name that you set) after that go sysdm

go sysdm.cpl(client’s pc only)> change> select domain> enter domain’s name that


you set ex. tesda.gov> close> let your pc restart by clicking close
After your client pc restarts, log in to other users> enter logon name that you set in
ADUC> password>enter

Now in server’s pc go to local disk d> double click/open Users or whatever the name
you set for your folder redirection> check if the logon name appeared (if not I suggest
you go for troubleshooting and not reformatting again)

Now for file screening/blocking> go to server manager in server’s pc> add roles and
features> add file sever or diretso ka na for file server resource management, check
frsm> next til you reach> install

After installing go to tools> find file server resource management> file screening
management> file screens> create file screen> browse,select local disk d> now choose
custom (define custom file screen properties)> create> select file groups to block ex.
audio, video and executable files (whatever you need to block)> ok> (if after clicking ok
then something pops up for saving then choose the second option for saving then click
ok)

Then check if file screening is working

Backup and recovery (server pc)
First set up a new folder in your local disk d> then put some file in it(bit image or simple
folder)> now back to server’s manager> add roles and features> find windows server
backup (uder siya ng features and di mo siya mahahanap sa server role)> install

*this part is kinda mess I can’t remember the names so bare with me
After installing go to tools> find windows server backup> local backup> backup once>
next> choose custom> add items> select the file you set up for backup> next> choose
where you want to put it (select local disk c)> after confirming where you want to put it>
backup wait until successfully completed
Now back to file explorer> this pc> local disk d> delete the folder you made for backup,
then go back to tools> windows server backup> local backup> choose recovery/recover
(idk which between the two)>next> next> find the file you want to recover just simply
expand> next> next> then recover
