Step-l: Organize a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM): Schoots shatt arrange and
conduct a PTM to introduce APAAR & its unique use cases and create
"STUDENTS APAAR lDs".
, step-2: Distribute consent Forms: schoots provide physicat consent forms to
parents.

consent form, white the schooI verifies student and parent identities.
, Step-4: Educate on APAAR: Schoots shatt provide a comptete overview of
APAAR to students and their parents.
, Step-S: Capture Consent: Schoots must cottect & store the "physical consent
form,, from parents, The PTM may be disbursed post consent form cottection.
, step-6: Access APAAR Modute: The school uDlsE coordinator or ctass
Teacher togs into the UDISE+ portat after the PTM and navigates to the APAAR
Modute tab.
. Step-7: Authenticate lnformation: Schoot authorities authenticate student
(e.9., name,
detaits onty lor the students whose consent has been received
gender, DOB, parents' names, Aadhaar number) to create the APAAR lD
through the UDISE+ APAAR Modute.
. Step-g: Generate ApAAR lD: The UDISE Coordinator or Ctass Teacher creates
the ApAAR lD upon successfut verification of Students detaits. lt is then
securety pushed to the student's DigiLocker account. A confirmation SMS witt
be detivered to the parents through their registered mobite number tinked to
their UDISE+ account.

mention APAAR lD number in their Schoot lD Card as wett. A confirmation SMS
witt be detivered to the parents through their registered mobile number
updated in UDISE+ sYstem.
. Step-lg: Faited to Create APMR lD: Upon unsuccessfut vatidation of Students
detaits or any other errors, UDISE portat witt hightight the Error message to the
schoot authority. Schoot may redirect the parents to the Common Service
Centre (CSC) for the required corrections.

1. Organize Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) in a phased
manner white prioritizing from Class-lX to Ctass-Xll.
For the PTM, Schoot authority may invite either of the parents
atong with their AADHAAR card or any other photo lD proof.
ln every PTM, conduct a 15-20 minute awareness session on
APAAR.
Provide detaited information on APAAR to students and
parents during the PTM.
APAAR introduction videos & document (FAa) maybe
circutated or shown at the time of PTM.
Ensure parental consent is collected physicatty for APAAR lD
creation.
Parents need not be asked to stay for creation of APAAR lDs
after PTM.
Verify and authenticate Students Name, Father's/Mother's
Name, Gender, DOB, and other required detaits coltected
under UDISE+ portal, and it should match student AADHAAR
detaits.
Ensure parental consent has been co[tected both physicatty
and updated digitatty on UDISE+ portat during the APAAR lD
creation.
10. Fottowing day the teacher shatt share the APAAR lDs to
students"
11. Student School ID card issued after the creation of APAAR lD,
must contain the students APAAR !D.
12. Comptete any additionat tasks assigned by regutatory bodies
or the education department.
13. Cottect audio/video bytes or testimoniats about APAAR from
Students, their parents, or from teachers.
