★ Microsoft is a global technology company known for
developing, licensing, and supporting a wide range of
software products, services, and hardware. Founded in
1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen, Microsoft became
one of the largest and most influential technology
companies in the world.
Current Worth of Microsoft (2025)
• As of early 2025, Microsoft’s market capitalization
stands at approximately $2.4 trillion. This makes it
one of the largest and most valuable companies
globally, competing closely with Apple and Alphabet
(Google’s parent company) in terms of market value.
Past Worth of Microsoft
• Microsoft’s past worth has evolved significantly since its founding in 1975. Here’s a concise
breakdown of its market value over the years:

• 1.1986 (IPO): Microsoft went public at a valuation of $500 million. It sold 2.5 million shares at
$21 each.

• 2. 1990s: By the late 1990s, Microsoft was one of the most valuable tech companies, reaching a
