This is a test to evaluate the learner’s progress in Unit 1. There are 3 sections: Listening,
Vocabulary and Language. It should take about 45 minutes.
You should begin with Listening. Ensure the students have the materials required. Play the
audio twice, and pause after each task to give them time to color and write.
Vocabulary and Language: Check they understand each task by highlighting the examples
before giving them time to complete them.
Self-evaluation: This is optional. Students read the sentences and tick the correct column. If
they seem unsure, refer them back to the different activities in this lesson and lesson 5.
