Enhanced Security

Stronger Authentication:
 Includes password strength configuration, and the
ability to determine the parameters for each strength
level of passwords based on installation needs.

Active Directory Integration:

 Incorporates the latest standard of LDAP integration (LDAPv3) to benefit from LDAP
single sign-on and additional security enhancements.
 Use LDAPv3 with support for Kerberos Client Authentication, the industry standard.
This enables remote access without having to communicate user password information
over the network.

Federal Ready – FIPS 140-2

 Provides a software option that will make the station FIPS 140-2 Level 1 compliant. The
FIPS option meets the requirements for any IP devices that will be deployed on a
government IT network.
 FIPS compliance provides an additional layer of security by using a NIST-certified
cryptographic module that is used for common IT security functions.

 Acknowledging large number of alarms left alarms in an AckPending state
 BACnet devices containing “unknown” or “proprietary” objects caused point discovery

 Oracle’s JAVA plug-in Update 65 could cause images on graphics not to appear
properly
 An initial file transfer timeout caused a LON file to report a timeout exception on
successive attempts to access the file
