The old sailors

Captain Bill was called the old sailor or Billy Bones. He was the first mate to a

pirate captain called Flint.He decided to stay at Admiral Benbow because it


was quiet

and he could ships on the cliff by his telescope all day. He was followed by a

handcart which carried a sea chest. He had along scar from a sword across
one

cheek and had several tattoos on his arm (Billy bone, fair wind and here's
luck ). He

was drunk most of the time, he sang old sea song and teling frightening
stories

which they are about (hangings, storms at sea and terrible crimes ).He
promised Jim

to give him a silver fourpennny to watch a seaman with one leq.He carried
two

Weapons knife and Sword.He was about to attack Dr,Livesey with his
knife .He had a

sword fight with with Black Dog.After the fight he had a stroke then
Dr,Livesey

advised him not to drink rum and should lie in bed for aweek. After he was
given the

black spot by the pirate called Pew. He had another stroke and died.

be the cabin boy and Dr.Livesey the ship's doctor.

5. He accused Jim ann Dr.livesey of telling the crew

the aim of the voyage.

6.When Jim and old Tom Reddruth found Squire , he dressed like a

Smart sea officer infront ofa large inn.


7. Dr.Livesey helped Squire Trelawney to organize and manage the

Voyage to find the treasure.

After a day or two at sea, he began to act like a man who was drunk.

Drink rum, but no one knew where he could be getting the drink.

He had no control over the crew.

No one was very surprised, or sad, therefore, when one dark, stormy

night he disappeared.

Captain Smollett

1. Captain of the ship and he took the job under " sealed order "

2. He seemed angry with everything on board and wasted no

time to tell the squire.

3. He didn't like this voyage, because jit was secretly planned.

4. He didn't like the men (crew) because he wasn't to choose

them by himself and the crew knew something that Captain

Smollett had not been told.

5. He didn't like the officer because He's too friendly with the

crew to be a good officer.' (Mr.Arrow)

6. Captain Smollett's suggestions were:

A-First, the gun powder and weapons should be put

under the cabin near the stern of the ship, and not

where they are now.

B-second, the crew should sleep at the back near the

cabin.

7. When Captain Smollett said "It is said that you have a map

of an island," He meant Squire.

8. Captain Smollett said that they should attack the pirates

when the pirates least expected it.

9. When the doctor said "l am surprised, you have managed to

get two honest men on board with you".that man and

Silver, he meant by that man Captain Smollett.

10. In the stockade he had been shot from shoulder and leg.
