Position Details
● Full Time
● Based in the community assigned to you, but some travel required
● Contract negotiations and renewals are yearly
● Reports to Community Director
● Oversees programs in your assigned community
Job Responsibilities
● Serving as a liaison between HR, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment
goals and objectives
● Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on HR and finance
activities
● Addressing inquiries and concerns from staff regarding HR and finance
● Managing budgetary planning and monitoring expenditure within the community
● Collaborates with the entity heads and the CD to develop annual budgets and financial
forecasts
● Overseeing accounts payable and receiving processes ensuring timely invoicing and
payment
● Conducting financial analysis and reporting to assess community performance and
identify areas for improvement
● Works hand in hand with the HR officer to ensure community level interviews are
organized and conducted smoothly
● Managing employee onboarding and exit interviews within the community level
● Maintaining employee records ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data
protection regulation
● Facilitating staff training programs to enhance skills and performance
● Handling employee relation issues and conflict resolution in collaboration with HR and
management terms
● Administering employee benefits like allowances, compensation to the casual staff, and
processing payroll
● Monitoring of all AsOne’s electronic systems (Medic software, School monitor, Airtel, &
Sure Pay) and acting as an administrator of the systems
● Responsible for involvement in weekly clinic stock taking and monthly schools stock
taking
● Ensuring financial records of each department are clear and accurate (internal community
financial controls)
● Ensuring most of the community expenses are paid electronically and receipts are
documented (use of banks, MoMo pay, Airtel Pay, & Sure Pay)
● Ensuring there is clear financial accountability and controls
● Organizing and submission of payment sheets for vendors/suppliers in a timely manner
● Ensuring departments request for realistic financial requisitions and submit
accountabilities in a timely manner
● Assist Community Director in staff development & culture
● Ensuring consistent application of policies across the community and providing guidance
to staff as needed
Position Qualifications
● Diploma / degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance
● At least 2 years of experience in related fields
● High understanding of people, work/team dynamics
● Highly organized
● Loves to help other people grow and reach their potential
● Ability to demonstrate key financial skills
● High English proficiency in spoken and written communication
● Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Drive
