Why you need a plan? ● Competition level ● Time-bound preparation ● Balancing
Let’s divide into three phases
● Phase1 :12-14 months before exam.
● Phase2 :6-8 months before exam. ● Phase3 :2-3 months before exam. Phase1 : Planning Key points to focus: ● Understand the exam structure ● Concept Building Study Routine and Resource Planning ● Create a Long-Term Study Plan ● Set aside specific periods for intensive learning ● Focus on understanding over memorizing ● Stick to a limited number of resources to avoid confusion ( will provide you a list in next class ) Phase1: Goals Setting Up Weekly & Monthly Goals ● Ensure all subjects and topics are given equal attention. ● Consistently revise previous topics. ● Incorporate periodic evaluations of your learning pace ( mock tests or self-assessments), always have a buffer zone. Problem-Solving and Practice Strategy ● Don’t rush, always start with basic problems (Even when topics seem challenging) ● Build your own strategies. ● Quality of practice and understanding each solution is key at this stage. Phase 1: Monitoring Your Progress Developing a Strong Revision Habit
● Review each concept at the end of week.
● Revision is not something to be left for the last minute. Active recall is essential. ● Effective Note-Taking ● Always maintain formula sheets or summary sheets ● After each topic completion, Track it by ticking off and maintain rating on each topic according to your knowledge on it. Phase1: Maintaining Motivation and Focus ● This is a long phase, Consistency is the key. ● Don’t over-estimate, This may take few weeks to evaluate your estimation. ● Set clear goals, Don’t burn out ( it is a marathon). ● Follow this principle when learning a new concept

● Full-Length Mock Tests ( previous year wise question papers)

Phase 2: Focused Revision Strategy ● Make time for backlogs ( Next class is how to cover backlogs) ● Revise topics in a cyclical manner ● Revisit your mistakes from mock tests and focus your revision on those specific problem ● Dealing with Exam Anxiety. Revision
● Go through all the topics and sort out according to your confidence. ● Focus on interlinking concepts across topics ● Don’t overload with new topics.
