STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO USE THE NIGERIAN NAVY MOTHER BASE
CONCEPT PORTAL SYSTEM (NNMBC)
1. Requirements for accessing the portal include:
a. Service Number;
b. Active email address;
c. Active phone number:
2. Accessing NNMBC portal: To access the portal, open a web browser on your PC or your
mobile phone and enter the web address provided by the NAVSEC branch.

3. REGISTER
Input your active phone number and email address in the field that would be displayed after
clicking the Register or Register Here Link.

4. REGISTRATION
At this point, all intended users of the NNMBC portal should ensure that the DND service is
disabled and not active on the sim card network to be used to receive the OTP.

This stage gives you the avenue to


input your correct credentials for
the NNMBC portal registration.
- Input your correct svc no
i.e X0000 and the females should
ensure the letter F is included after
the svc no i.e X0000F
- Type in your correct Phone number
in this format 07011223344.
- Input your correct email address.
- Click the SUBMIT BUTTON.
NB: Kindly ensure that the provided
email is active and available.

At this point, you prudently check the text


message inbox on your mobile device for the OTP
that was issued to you. Next, type it to the box
(image left) and press the OK button.
Please be aware of the following explanations
for why you might not receive your OTP.
- Your phone number submitted to CND might
not be active again or in use any longer by you.
- Your sim card network might be on the DO NOT
DISTURB (DND) activated mode.
- Confirm the DND status of your sim card
network.
- Otherwise, send mail to [email protected]
with your (svc no, svc name, email address and
phone number)

Once you have gotten the OTP and has clicked on


the OK button, the next stage is this stage (image
left). The outlined areas are to be taken very
important.
The initial password created (inside yellow box)
with the OTP would be seen (image left) and
should be copied down preferably written down
with a pen so as not to forget.
Next step is to click here to proceed (inside red
box) to go to the next stage after you have copied
the password down.
NB: Please note that this password copying
down process should not go beyond 5 mins as it
will expire after 5 minutes.

Next stage is to change your password to your preferred choice or group of


words, this stage is very important and mandatory as you cannot skip this stage
to fill the form unless you have changed your password. (image below)
Type in your preferred password and confirm it then click the submit button.

After a successful password changing


process the next page to appear is the
guideline page.
It is expected that you read each and every
paragraph of this page as it would serve as
guidelines for you as you begin to fill the
form there is also option to download and
read the guide in pdf format.
You have the options to either sign out,
download the guide or start filling the
form here.
NB: You are expected to download and
read the guideline before you start filling
the NNMBC filling process.
